Outside Hank's....
Oldschool struggles with the squirming Kick-induced dragonoid thug and says, "Listen. I know I attacked you first, but I honestly thought you were a monster about to attack that girl. You can hear the screams coming from inside the tavern. They aren't coming from anyone getting attacked by my friends. We're trying to be heroes. So if there's screams coming from your friends, it's because my friends are having trouble stopping that rival gang from attacking..."
The draco-thug curses and wriggles in Oldschool's grip.
Oldschool continues, "I'm not saying we can't finish this later, but you just laughed off my last attack. We could use you saving your friends. If I'm out here wrestling with you in the mud for no reason other than you are some sort of humanoid dragon, then I think we'd both be better off inside stopping that rival gang before even more people get hurt!"
The dragonoid rages at Oldschool, trying to squirm out of Oldschool's hold and lips off "I gots a better idea. Why don't you quit hugging on me and let me whoop your...erk...YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!"
Oldschool had had enough. He was in the perfect position behind this dracopunk, gripping him in a nelson hold. Although he had no wrestling training, Oldschool imitated a move he saw Demolition Dunphy slap on the Armadillo in a Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation championship last man standing force field projector "cage" match. A devastating manuever ironically known as the "Dragon Sleeper." Kicking the legs out from under the dragonpunk, he falls to a seated position as Oldschool drives his knee into the dragonoid's back as he pulls him back into an inverted facelock. The dragon's face is in Oldschool's armpit as Oldschool wraps his arm around the back of the dracopunk's neck and grabs his free arm and begins wrenching the dragonoid's back and neck. If there is a painless way to apply a Dragon Sleeper hold on an opponent, Oldschool doesn't know how. The Draco-Thug howls in agony as tendons in his back strain and divorce from their bones. The dragonoid goes limp and unconscious as it begins shrinking back to normal human size, even as his wings and tail crumble to dust. In moments, the thug named Cutthroat returned to normal, save for some minor bruising and deep scars on his back where his wings had been. He lies on the pavement in tattered boxer shorts.
Oldschool hears two women yell "Daaaaaaaaaaamn!" and start laughing, and he looks up and sees Shelly and Greta from the pizza restaurant peeking over the railing to the subway staircase across the street, watching the fight.
A vehicle door slammed behind him, and Oldschool turned to see the Bat Boys' van speed away west on 6th Street, leaving the nine stunned Flashing Blades thugs laying in the lot. As Oldschool begins to stand back up from kneeling over the unconscious thug, the brickwork of the eastern wall of Hank's Tavern explodes outward as a wolf-man creature flies through it over Oldschool's head and crashes into the skateboard halfpipe ramp, destroying it.
The Werewolf howls at the crescent moon in the sky as it gets to its feet, then seems to have look of shock on its face as it sees the blood matting his furry forearms and clawed hands. The wolfman seems to strain against invisible restraints shouting "Let us go!" before bowling over into sobs of "What have I done?" before they fade into an unintelligible mumble that becomes an animalistic growl. His fur stands up on his neck as he crouches up on all fours and looks at Oldschool with frenzied rage...
In the distance, Oldschool hears the shriek of approaching police and ambulance sirens.

Inside Hank's...
The Werewolf lunges at the Flashing Blades thug that hit him with a lead pipe, but the thug ducks back out the way. The raging Werewolf's sweeping claws catch Elixir in the chest, ripping his shirt away as it glances off harmlessly off of titanium flesh. The Werewolf looks quizzically at Elixir.
Seeing his moment, Flashdance thinks to himself "I gotta take down down fido over there, and fast. Lemme think - two arms, two legs, a head. If he as all those, bet he has a jimmy too..." With a twisted little grin on his face, Flashdance yells "THE TEAM IS ON THE 30 YARD LINE - FLASHDANCE GOES FOR THREEEEEE!!!!!!" Flashdance nails the Werewolf right in his puppymaker with superhuman strength as he sees Shockwave repulse the Frankenstein's Monster with a sonic blast. The Werewolf crashes through the wall behind the stage as tendrils of dark, shadowy energy fill the dance floor obscuring even Flashdance's infravision.
That's when Flashdance notices his own breath in the air as the temperature in the bar drops... extremely. Cups with drinks in them on nearby tables freeze solid. The building's central heating system roars to life but produces only a cold wind. It is now 30 degrees below zero Fahrenheit in the bar.
Out of the field of darkness encompassing the dancefloor, Flashdance sees the dancing patrons run, quickly grabbing their jackets and coats hanging on the backs of their chairs in the dining area and bolting for the front door.

As the Frankenstein's Monster lunges at Shockwave, he sees the Werewolf fly past and violently crash through the brick wall behind the stage over the head of a figure wearing a blue cape and out into the lot with Oldschool. He blasts the Frankenstein's Monster with a burst of extreme sonic energy, which knocks it back. Suddenly the stage and dancefloor is plunged into extreme darkness as the temperatures drop dramatically to 30 below zero Fahrenheit. Shockwave's sonar maps the room, seeing the big monster he blasted stiffen. The creature says, "Adam... cold.... sleepy" and falls over on its face. And with a noise that sounds like a moth burning in a bug zapper, the large creature disappears without a trace from Shockwave's sonar as if it teleported away.. And then Shockwave's SHIELD acoustic forensics software spits out a strange message....

Shockwave sees through his sonar several dancefloor patrons seem to be physically shocked and confused by the sudden drop in temperature and they stumble through the darkness past Flashdance and another beside him that seems to have a denser body resonance than a normal human. The dancers flee to grab their coats from the dining area and bolt out of the front door to get out of Hank's deep freeze conditions. In the middle of the dancefloor crouches a female humanoid shivering and pulling a long scarf around her. She appears confused by the darkness and the cold.

Colin mentally activates his cryokinetic powers, easily dropping the temperatures in the bar to 30 below zero Fahrenheit. As he bends over to pull another boot onto his Windchill costume, the wall behind him crashes out as the Werewolf that attacked the band is thrown through it from the dancefloor. He sees a blue armored figure blast the Frankenstein's Monster and then the lights go out behind a cloud of impenetrable shadow that fills the dancefloor.

Kassandra sensed something wasn't right from her vantage point on the sidewalk looking into the bar. She immediately recalled a few things from her knowledge of the occult. The lycanthrope could be none other than Jack Russell, the "Werewolf by Night." The beautiful goth chick in the dancefloor could be none other than his Night Shift teammate Dansen Macabre. That would make the Flesh Golem the Frankenstein's Monster. But they're based on the West Coast. Why are they in New York City? Silvered weapons would be the only way to kill the Werewolf, but Jack Russell is known to be able to control his werewolf form on a night like this. Why was he in a frenzy when there was no full moon out? Dansen Macabre was beginning to weave her movements into the deadly dance of Shiva, which could kill people just watching it. She's the most dangerous of them all, and she has the whole dancefloor enthralled.
Thinking quickly, Kassandra plunges her Darkforce field into the bar's dancefloor as the hero called Flashdance kicked the Werewolf by Night through the back wall and out into the lot where Oldschool just subdued the dragon creature and Shockwave flattens the Frankenstein's Monster with a burst of sonic energy. In the reverse photographic image view of sensing through shadow, Kassandra sees the bass guitarist of the band pulling on a mask and superhero cape. For some reason the Frankenstein's monster starts moving slowly, then collapses on its face. In a burst of negative image light, the Frankenstien's Monster disappears.
Fog rolls out of the garage door and the gaping hole in the eastern wall near the lot, as the inside of Hank's seems extremely colder than the outside.

It was happening fast. The Werewolf struck Evan in the chest, ripping his shirt. Evan has transformed into living titanium, so the blow didn't even scratch him. Evan reached out to grab the raging wolf-man when a man in white and red spandex and cowboy boots and carrying a baseball bat kicks the creature right in the groin, sending it crashing through the wall behind the stage. The dancefloor fills with an inky darkness even as the bar becomes a deepfreeze. People brush past as they stagger and stumble through the darkness towards the dining seating area.

ooc: New battlefield conditions inside Hank's. The dancefloor and stage half of the building is enshrouded in Remarkable intensity darkness (imagine having a black bag over your head and being dropped into a deep earth cave without a lightsource)
This effects everyone on the dancefloor (Dansen Macabre, Flashdance, Elixir) who will suffer -4CS penalties due to the extreme darkness. Shockwave's sonar-vision can navigate through this darkness, as can Flashdance with a Yellow Infravision FEAT roll.
The dining area of Hank's is not covered in darkness.
THe entire bar, from stage to dining area, is plunged into Remarkable intensity cold conditions. Any characters not protected from this level of coldness must succeed in a Remarkable intensity Endurance check or be at -2CS to all FEATs while in the cold. If the Endurance FEAT is a success, the character is only at -1CS in the cold area. All material strengths of objects, armor, and titantium flesh are at -1CS material strength and could shatter if hit hard enough.
Time to declare actions and roll initiatives. Spellbound's darkforce will be replaced by plasma generation after this upcoming round.

Realizing Dansen Macabre is the most dangerous threat in the bar with her lethal Dance of Shiva, and with the bar patrons clearing out Spellbound collapses the cloud of Darkforce till it surrounds and isolates the gothic dancer.

What in the world? Where did Franky go? I didn't hit him that hard...and there is no physics for sound causing disintrigration, especially at the amplitudes I can use. Is he another teleporter? Seems like everyone can do that these days. I'm way behind the curve. Next problem is this chilling darkness filling the bar. I really need to get out of it before equipment starts getting damaged. Although this armor is cold resistant, I think this is outside of its operating range. Time to find an exit. Wait a minute, one of the dancers didn't make it out. I'd better get her out while I'm at it.
Shockwave runs through the darkness accross the dancefloor, using his sonar to guide him. He goes to scoop up the woman who seems to be lost in the darkness, to run out the newly made exit where the werewolf went.
OOC: DOH! Nothing like trying to save the badguys.

Now that's weird! The dancefloor is covered in darkness. The stage lights don't even penetrate it! I must not be the only super in the bar. Whatever the case, something in that darkness just threw that Werewolf creature through the brick wall behind me. Better not try to fumble around in that dark. Right before the lights went out, that blue armored figure knocked down the Frankenstein's Monster with a blast of strange noise. Whoever he is in there he can probably take care of that Frankenstein Monster. At least I can see out onto the parking lot... whoa! The Werewolf is getting up, and he looks like he's ready to pounce on that power-lifter dude! I better slow him down with some high speed winds until we can figure out why he and his Halloween friend attacked my band. I was just starting to get into that goth girl on the dancefloor....
Windchill steps through the hole in the wall and out into the lot and with an outstretched hand summons up a swirl of 450 mile per hour winds to scoop up the Werewolf and the skateboard ramp debris into a twisting tornado-like vortex funnel to hold him in place and off the ground....

Pitch black, freezing, and monsters on the loose. This night just gets better and better. Last thing I saw was a guy in red and white come in and drop kick wolf man through a wall, by his 'nads (!) and I'm not much good in here, time to exit!
Returning to normal flesh and blood, Evan cautiously makes his way to the newly created exit behind the stage, feeling for any bodies on the floor. If he comes across any, he will slow down their biological functions hopefully keeping them in stasis until help can arrive, and pull them out of the cold darkness.

Flashdance is going attempt his powerfeat "the teleport punch" on the werewolf.
OCC - I know we never "technically" worked out the details on the how the teleport punch would work; maybe this learning curve will be part of the fun - something he has done on practice dummies... never on an actual opponent yet

ooc: Flashdance, the teleportation punch is a power stunt FEAT, therefore it costs an initial 100 Karma to attempt, and you must succeed in a Red teleportation FEAT for it to work (otherwise, FD just teleports as normal outside, with no attack). Until the Red FEAT is made, it will cost 100 Karma to try it. After the Red FEAT is made, the next attempt at the stunt will require a Yellow FEAT (but the dice cost no Karma) and the attempt after that will require a Green FEAT. Once FD has paid the 100 Karma, gotten a Red FEAT, then attempted the same stunt two more times with a Yellow and a Green sucess respectively, the stunt becomes established and FD can do it at any time.
Until the FEAT is established though, we will need 2 rolls - the first is to see if the FEAT is possible (costs 100 Karma and requires a Red FEAT) and if successful, you'll roll a Fighting FEAT to hit as normal but FD's rank points in teleportation will be added to his Fighting rank points before adding Talent column shifts.
After the stunt FEAT is established (after 3 successes), it will just be a normal single attack roll. [/s][/color]
Edit: after some clarification on what powerstunts have been "tried once" pre-game (see After Midnight ooc thread), there is no 100 Karma fee, and Flashdance only needs a Yellow powerstunt attempt FEAT to pull it off "again."

ooc: It will be a glorious power stunt if Flashdance pulls it off, considering that Flashdance is going to be teleporting to attack a target he last saw crashing through a wall and into the skateboard halfpipe just a microsecond before Spellbound's Darkforce field on the dancefloor created conditions between Flashdance and the hole in the wall that Flashdance has to Yellow FEAT his infravision to see through. Fortunately, FD has been near the halfpipe before, he just doesn't know if his target has moved (and that's a matter of initiative left to the dice gods and depending on how Werewolf's init falls and where Spellbound's init to collapse her Darkforce to cover Dansen Macabre only falls) Let's wait to see if Oldschool's actions / init pre-empts Werewolf's before we roll the "can the powerstunt be done" roll for FD, as it would be bad to pop out of nowhere and blindside clock Oldschool.[/color]

Oldschool stepped back from the Draco-teen and sighed. There was no pleasure in taking out an adolescent. Most of them were the product of their home life and deserved more sympathy than hate.
Whoever was manufacturing 'Kick' would pay.
Mike turned around as a body crashed through the wall and into the half-pipe. His eyes opened in amazement as the Werewolf stepped toward him menacingly. The blood on it's claws looked fairly fresh.
"Settle down, kid," Oldschool said as he moved to block the teenage wolfman from getting back in the bar.
