Shockwave begins blasting full power at the approaching LMD's, knowing that it is useless, but perhaps with enough power behind it, at least some of them could be taken down before the inevitable.
(Using sonic manipulation for the +1CS power to make an amazing intensity sweep attack. As per my limitation I put on the armor, this will leave the armor at -2CS on all sonic feats for 1-10 rounds after use.)
Initiative (in case it's required) or straight to AG-4CS if it isn't:

ooc: Elixir's Psyche FEAT roll was too low to escape the "reality" of his nightmare, which subsequently worsens. The world is divided into two distinct camps, those that believe mutants should be exterminated on sight as quickly as possible, and those that believe mutants should be exterminated slowly with prolonged torture. Both of these camps accuse the other of being soft on mutantkind. There are a few non-mutants that don't believe mutants should be killed, such as Elixir's comrades Shockwave, Vendetta, and Flashdance, but they too face death as suspected mutie lovers aiding and abetting the escape of mutants. The idea that mutants have rights in this reality is percieved as ludicrous as the idea of mailboxes having rights. ooc: no initiative needed... "this isn't really happening" ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) yoiu may describe your effects at will as well, after all, they're out of your own minds. I'll ask for Psyche FEATs as needed, but I can only say you're rolling against illusions created by your character's own minds (Yellow FEAT to break)

Shockwave powers all of the stored sonic energy from throughout his armor into a kinetic blast. His aim starts slightly ahead of the oncoming horde of gang member synthezoids, approaching almost as if they were zombies from Night of the Living dead. The kinetic ground vibrates at the point of impact of the steady blast, throwing asphault into the air digging a line into the ground as Shockwave raises his aim towards the LMD's. As he reaches the LMD's, the first one hit flies directly backwards into the ones behind it.
The vibrations within the armor become painful as the massive release of stored energy strains the limits of the systems. Shockwave keeps his aim level slowly moving to the right, sending more and more of the approaching synthezoids crashing into the oncoming crowds. After completing almost a thirty degree arc, the stream of energy halts abruptly, and Shockwave falls to one knee, obviously trembling from the after effects of the vibranium releasing it's energy. He lifts his head slowly, seeing that dozens of the synthezoids lay damaged or destroyed by the blast, but that others quickly fill their positions in the encirlcing mass coming ever closer.
"There are just too many of them. That was the best I've got." His voice trembles just like his muscles, whether from the fear of impending doom, or the vibrations of the armor.

"Stay back, all of you! I don't want to hurt you!"
Elixir backs up to his companions.
"Sorry for doing this, but you can't be seen with me, they'll burn you like other mutant sympathizers."
With that Elixir turns into titanium form and looks for a manhole cover to escape into the sewers through.

Vendetta scans the mob, looking for someone with a gun. He quickly spots one holding a shotgun, and closes the distance to him, disarming him with little trouble, using his marine and krav maga training.
As he spins around to face the mob again, and begins pumping shell after shell into them, trying to reach Flashdance. Unfortunately it is not the AA-12 issue of the marine core, and so it soon comes up empty, and he is back to having only his nightsticks.

Elixir finds a manhole and slides it aside, lowering himself into the darkness below. Once in, he pulls the cover back over deepening the darkness even further.
Stumbling through the sludge, he listens intently for any sounds of pursuit.
(ooc - Elixir hasn't really escaped, there's more coming down here!)

As Vendetta disarms one of the crowd and blasts them, Shockwave emits a roaring sonic blast that rips up the pavement, sending fragments into the crowd that obliterates a gap through them.
Elixir digs up a manhole cover and leaps into the sewers.
Windchill emits a freezing gust of air from his hands that solidify the oncoming rush of zealous mutant haters, then he pulls a gust of air back towards him that blows through and shatters their frozen flesh.
Windchill is trying to make his way to Flashdance, who is being strung up for immolation on a lamp post...

Flashdance yells to his teammates as he is tied to a lamppost, "This is not real. This world is not real. These people are not real. Nightmare! Dream Dimension! Hello?!"
ooc: Psyche FEAT everyone...

Elixir drops into the darkness of the sewers, and feels himself grabbed and shaken....
He opens his eyes to see Jenkins shaking him, trying to wake him up.
The scene is chaotic. The people in the homeless shelter are waking up or waking each other up, most disturbed awake by the noise of the vehicular crashes on the streets outside, which rumble through the Lower East Side like a symphony of destruction.
Elixir sees Oldschool and Rin standing over a sleeping Flashdance, Shockwave, Vendetta, and Windchill.
The strange assassin in red that called himself Deadpool appears to be sleepwalking from the kitchen, holding a old chicken drumstick, munching it with his mask pulled back to reveal a horribly disfigured face.

//Sorry for the absence, school comes first.. ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) \\ A light grin. Satisfaction took its toll on Rin for a mere moment. All of the times he had done this he was...happy. Or rather, he felt happiness that he knew he deserved. Though these moments were few and far between, Rin always basked in its glory. Now away from the eye of the public, nothing could be blamed on him, so nothing needed to be done outside; people encounter problems on a daily basis, right? They could handle this. Though on the inside, there was work to be done. Everyone but Flashdance needed to wake up, and that was exactly what he was going to do. Rin looked between the standing Oldschool and the rising Jenkins, and quietly told them with a hint of happiness in his voice "Don't wake Flashdance.." It was immediately afterword that he began to look for any binding materials to restrain the walking red man, as that was the original intention to allow his ability to activate. Using the only obvious and quick material he could get, clothing, he quickly does work on tieing up Deadpool's arms behind his back and his ankles together with a series of what to Rin seem stable knots (all 4 limbs together). Afterword, he immediately disarms him of all visible weapons, and sets them far away from where he tied him up. Now, after the main cause, he immediately begins to wake up the 'special' people from their sleep (the group), stepping across their chest to do so. As he wakes each one up (if he fails the first time, he continues onward) he points to Deadpool and the poorly, but heavily tied up clothing binding him, as if to show them what happened while they were down. When he reaches Flashdance, he guards anyone from waking him up. He pushes anyone who gets near him away, and continually hovers over his body. He lets no one near. The grin faded away.

Oldschool blinked in surprise. He'd never seen a grenade like that before. Ever! He could hear cars crashing outside the shelter and mused that the grenade, somehow had been powerful enough to effect more than the occupants of the room he was in.
It made no sense. Why would the assassin do this knowing full well he would fall prey to the effects of the grenade?
Unless the assassin did not know what the grenade was capable of... Perhaps someone payed the assassin to throw the grenade... cannon-fodder, so that their forces could hit the shelter with everyone asleep or knocked out.
If that was true, Mike figured that they'd show up soon. He'd be ready to defend his friends.
Mike's eyes raised in surprise as he watched the youth corral and tie up the assassin. Somehow the child had avoided being knocked out by the grenade.
He had told the youth to run. Perhaps it had been enough to help the kid avoid getting knocked out.
"Reen," he called out, "stay low and don't let anyone disturb our friends. We've no idea what has happened to them physically. They could be in a coma or shock maybe. I'm no doctor, but if it was powerful enough to knockout a couple blocks of people, it's powerful enough to take seriously. I'm going to take a look and see what's going on..."
Oldschool headed to the door to see what he could see.
Ooc: I know it wasn't the grenade that did it, but Oldschool doesn't.

Shaking his head and trying to dislodge the horrific images of his nightmare Elixir opens his eyes...only to see another vision of chaos.
He sees the younger kid tying up the assassin and Oldschool looking outside.
"What happened here, did everyone just...fall asleep?"
As he struggles to his feet, another thought crosses Elixir's mind.
Did everyone get that same kind of dream? Even the people outside?
