Vendetta swaps a few stories with Jenkins, telling him of his missions in various places. As Shockwave wakes up and looks at his armour-leg he says "Don't worry, I'll help you put it back togheter better than new. Must have cost a fortune to get all that Vibranium though."

Windchill looks at Vendetta as if trying to pierce a veil of hazy memories. Then to Elixir, he says "I became ice and wind? It was frighteningly powerful. I couldn't handle it. But for a moment, it felt good. Reeeeeeeally good. Do you still have that sample of Kick? I just want to... see it. Where did you put it?" ooc: Kick withdrawal is a mofo... ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Solo joined The conversation, between Vendetta and Jenkins, about his time in the Army and Omega strike force. Solo commented that Jenkins was a great Asset and his experience would be a great asset to the "Team".
Solo then went to a corner and sat on a chair. He took his kevlar west off, to treat his injuries, which werent to bad. One could see his various scars, and also an omega symbol which seemend to be crossed out with some kind of branding.
After he cleaned up and treated everything he got dressed again, Solo started deassembling his sinper rifle and cleaning it, the reassembling it, and the same he did with his machine-pistol. He had a emotionless stoic face and didnt seem in a chatty mood.

Shockwave tried to piece together the events of the day in his head. He recalls ninjas on the rooftops. He recalls firing a blast of sonic energy at one of them...then searing pain, and then nothing.
"I don't know what happened back there, but thanks for getting me out."

Jenkins shrugs off praise of his medical skills. "I just had the medical supplies on hand. I know bulletholes and stab wounds from my time in Korea and my years in prison, but Elixir's the star here. Shockwave's going to heal up fine, as long as he stays off that leg enough."
Jenkins listens to Solo's Omega Strike stories with interest. He comments that he thought it odd that investigations into the plane hijacking in Milan, Italy that ended with a firefight on the plane right before it crashed had been covered up so well.
He says to Solo, "Do you ever listen to Vic Sage? Comes on Saturdays around 3 in the morning on AM radio if you can pick him up. Big time conspiracy theorist and journalist but a lot of things he says makes sense. He did a special on that hijacking last year. Says stories about finding military weapons in the wreckage were cleansed from all newfeeds within 15 minutes of first reporting them. If what you say is true, you'd be quite a guest on his show. Were weapons found, and how did they get on that plane? You said there was a team of teleporters like you involved?"
Jenkins seems a bit suspicious of the government, and fully believes the US government wrote off hundreds of American POWs and MIAs unaccounted for from the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He then thanks Solo for bringing Spellbound's body back.
"From what I can gather, she died a noble death, getting Windchill and Elixir back here, then Shockwave and Flashdance back here. Very dedicated to the team, I'd say. You people work well together, and should keep it that way. You all need a team name, start making a name for yourself."

Solo awnsers Jenkins on the offer,"I am flattered that you suggest I would be on that show, but I try to keep a low profile. If I would do that Id piss off some people who already dont like me, and might as well paint a bullseye on my shirt. I thank you for listening to me and understanding me.....I dont know about a team name, a name was always given to us back when I started.... How about maybe "Pack Of Antisoldiers"?, just a random idea...

Shockwave seems to focus more on the leg of his armor than on the conversation going on around him. It's likely he's thinking about what it's going to take to get things up and running again, calculating effort, time, and parts needed.

Vendetta walks over to Shockwave "I know a thing or two about making and repairing battlesuits. Dont worry we'll have your armour patched up as good as new soon enough"
Then he goes to Jenkin's table "I know this is may be too soon... but we need to figure out what we do about our dead girl. We cant leave her here... that would raise too many questions. But I've never left any of my teammembers behind and I sure as H**l wasnt going let this girl be the first one. I know Solo was the one who risked getting caught to fetch her, but if he hadn't then I would have. You of all people should know why." he pauses for a bit "We should find out if she had any next of kin... The kid with the ice powers seems to know her ... sort of. Maybe we can find out who her family are. I'd like to be there when we give them the news - its the least I can do ..." his words seem to trail off as if he feels a like he should have stopped her from going on the roof without more backup.

"I remember Spellbound speaking about Roma funeral customs in class. They will not touch a corpse that was not prepared for death, out of fear of a curse. We'll need to deliver her body to her mother, with dignity or no one will come for it. Then all of Spellbound's belongings in life will be smashed and burned."
Windchill choked up at this. "I've still got to attend the funerals of my band. If they are on the same day..."
Colin Sontag was conflicted. His friends had been murdered on stage by the monsters at Hank's Tavern. But Spellbound had died in the effort to save his own life. He hoped he would not have to choose which funeral to attend.

Shockwave listens to the offer to help with the battlesuit, then overhears the discussion of Spellbound's death, as well of the deaths of so many others recently. All of the sudden a leg injury and a damaged battlesuit seemed pretty trivial in the bigger picture.
"I'm sorry about your friends. Nobody deserves what has been going on. We need to get to the sources of these problems and get it stopped before there are more needless deaths. This is turning into a big mess, and I'm not sure we are helping the situation anymore. I don't think our averages are looking real good on saving lives. Strangers, enemies, allies... seems like everyone around us is dying. We need to evaluate whether we are part of the problem here, and whether we can be part of the solution."
