BOOM!
The roar of Solo's Bor rifle echoes through the streets as Ninja #5 is struck and staggers back, a bit shocked that his charge didn't knock Solo's gun away.
The street in front of the thug doctor's apartment becomes chaotic as SWAT #4 and #5 yell at tenants of the brownstones across the street to go back inside, and the tenants of the building Spellbound just fell off of complain that water from the damaged tower is flooding their apartments.
"Go back inside and get down you idiots! Didn't you hear the gunshots?"
"Aw hell man we hear gunshots every damned day around here. My damn ceiling is a waterfall!"
"I ain't got no water pressure. How'my s'posed to do my dishes?"
"Get back inside now!"
"Yes sir Mr. Bad Ass Po-leece-man sir. Damn. Rude ass."
"Eww. That girl jumped off our building?"
"I bets the cops shot her. Who got a video camera on they phone?"
"Back inside now!"
Vendetta and Solo hear the SWAT team members in the alley curse and gripe at each other and the dispatcher over the radio "Get up there! Get up there! The shooter's on the roof! Where's that damned helicopter?!"
They hear the dispatcher's report back... "Negative on the chopper, SWAT Team Four. There's a riot at Ryker's with several high profile escapees. Air units are currently engaged."
"Christ! We're on our own! Move people!"
=====
It's time to exfiltrate....
SWAT is coming up the fire escape. Only way down is over the side of the building. Vendetta's bike is unattended.
Ninja #5 is still on the roof with Vendetta and Solo, and Ninja #3 is still atop the building on the other side of the lot where Vendetta's bike is parked.
The front of the street is becoming a crowd control nightmare, for which the three SWAT team members are quickly becoming overwhelmed.
The EMTs carry the thug doctor out of his apartment on a stretcher, and head for the ambulance. Vendetta and Solo hear SWAT #6 crudely remark that they need a "meat wagon" for the bodies of the dead cop.... and Spellbound.
ooc: both Solo and Vendetta are armored / padded enough to survive a drop down to the bike with light injuries. Teleporting down risks the possibility of Solo becoming disoriented and unable to teleport for 1-10 rounds, but will get the two down to the bike without injury. The SWAT climbing up to the roof will either see a ninja and shoot ask questions later, or see a ninja and Vendetta and Solo, shoot and ask questions later.
Targets remaining:
Ninja #3 and Ninja #5
go ahead and declare actions / roll initiative. This upcoming round occurs 1 round before Flashdance and Shockwave and Ninja #1 appear at the homeless shelter.
Spellbound, unfortunately, has a journey to a morgue coming.

The shit was hittting the fan, falling in a full bathtub! This was a goddamm mess, the Hand lackeys have taken almost all of the team. Those Ninja Mother&%(<ers wanted them out of the way for good! Desperate times called for desperate mesures, Solo told Vendetta in a firm voice,"We gotta get Spellbound now! Ill jump down to her, you jump to your bike and meet me where she is, and Ill teleport us out of here, GO NOW!" Solo didnt gave Vendetta a chance to argue, there was no time to argue, Solo knew Vendetta will do what has to be done, he was a soldier after all.
As Solo said what he says he straps his Bor rifle over the shoulder activates his hidden mind controlled springloaded pistol to shoot at Ninja #5, not carring if he hit him just to get him of his back, and at the same time jumping towards Spellbound in a judostyle roll to minimize pain and damage. (Using Karma for a red result)

Vendetta goes running towards the edge of the roof where his bike is parked, fiering both pistols at Ninja #3. He doesnt stop to play "ring around the roses" with him if he misses, but simply jumps off the side using his skills in Parkour (Tumbling and Acrobatics talents) to get down semi-safely. ooc: just quick questions...
Solo and Vendetta are jumping off the top of a two-story building. I'll buy Vendetta's using Parkour (very nice!) But.. not only are there going to be even more gunshots to get the SWAT attention, Solo's planning to leap to the street in front of three SWAT team members trying to get to Spellbound, who fell off a 4 story building and is rather sidewalk pizza-ish in damage... nice to try to collect her body... but... Solo may have to fight to get to her while Vendetta runs interference. I know Solo's just dying for the chance to toss another flashbang in a cops' face, LOL.
Also, the "mind-controlled spring loaded pistol" - it's not on Solo's character sheet, and I'm not sure Solo has any "mind control" doohickeys having neither telepathic powers or cybernetic implants beyond his teleportation circuitry. Let's look into that later, and go with his standard loadout. Slinging the sniper rifle and drawing the machine pistol, shooting, and jumping off the building in one round is doable... just barely, but Solo is bad ass like that.
holding here for clarification...

))((OOC I have added that I put that pistol when I was gearing up for the undercover mission, look it up. But if It doesnt work make it a more simple mechanism like the gun the bad guy in red heat, activated by turning my wrist up as much as possible. I have still all the weapons I added, and am in civilian gear, and since I added to use my Karma as you said. I didnt say this move is smart or not suicidal, but Solo works now under a strict "no one left behind" policy. Bsdicly I dtill have a hidden combat knife and nunchuck, a used taser, (a taser cant be reused or?) the hidden spring mechanic gun, bor rifle and the wearing the night vision googles, and am in Street Clothing.))((

ooc: I do remember seeing it earlier, but I let it pass without comment. Mind control is not feasible as a mechanism for how it works. The spring-loaded sleeve holster is cool Hollywood but not feasible in gritty reality. I know it's silly to hold a comic book based game setting to full gritty reality, but such a device is unconfortable to wear, prone to accidental launch, there's a chance of dropping instead of catching the gun on release, and it still has to be cocked and ready to fire once it actually is in hand. I'll allow Solo the pick of the litter when it comes to harvesting weaponry and equipment common to the arsenals of the world, but spring-loaded sleeve holsters don't really fit the criteria of something Solo would find in a common arsenal. Police, military, and intelligence units just don't use them. They certainly could be designed by some engineering Talented character to be reliable in true sci-fi comic book fashion, but I just don't feel comfortable with Solo having something like that just automatically. Besides, the MP5K machine pistol has a faster rate of fire

))((OOC then its just a hidden pistol. I can have a hidden pistol, in an arm strap right?))(( ooc: Certainly. Solo is already carrying (I presume) his standard load out listed in the 1991 TSR character updates, of which is a "machine pistol" with a range of six areas, holds six shots, and does Excellent Shooting / Edged damage, and a fire rate of 1 per round, which is normally carried in a side / hip holster but certainly could be under his leather jacket instead.
I was simply wanting to upgrade this to an actual MP5K machine pistol rather than the generic listing, the only real difference being that the fire rate can be either up to 2 individually aimed shots per round or full auto burst (does RM damage to targets in all areas within the field of fire, but unloads the clip in a single round) and carries 30 rounds per magazine clip. Going full auto hoses down everything between the gun and the other end of its 6 area effective range, and hosing down multiple targets at full auto in that 6 area long line of fire would only incur a -3CS penalty after Solo's Talents are factored in. It's good sickness, that auto burst fire rate. And... if anyone in that fire zone knows the shots are coming, they can't make Dodge FEATs to add additional CS penalties to Solo's Agility unless they can make an Incredible intensity Agility FEAT. Dodging automatic gunfire is not for the merely Excellent Agilities.
The gun itself was never the issue, except for just the "mind control / spring loaded" sleeve holster, which would make for a smaller gun and added technical difficulties. The MP5K is nice, even the SWAT team on the scene are carrying them.
As a side note, I noticed that Solo also has climbing claws that effectively give him Feeble (2) Wall-Crawling speed, but he simply doesn't have time to put them on, sling the Bor rifle, draw the machine pistol, fire, and leap off the building in the same round. He's fast, but not that fast. He's going to sling the Bor rifle, draw and fire the pistol while running to leap off the building to land near Spellbound's battered body, in the middle of a small crowd and three SWAT cops trying to push the crowd back. He'll take some damage from the sudden stop on the ground, but it won't be much.
Just let me know if you're going with a generic one-shot-per-round generic machine pistol, or if he's got an MP5K taking 2 shots on the ninja double-tap style, or hosing him down. We can always explore Solo's arsenal of death later, but it is pre-established that he's at least got an MP5K handy.
In other news, I'm sorry I'm in a lull of posting. I'm getting ready to move into a new apartment and currently packing boxes and wrangling up the transfer of my utilities to the new place. Game will be on and popping again at usual speed soon.

))((OOC I basicly want to unload the clip in full auto mode with the MP5K. Solo at this point just wants to save Spellbound, and is not worrying about himself too much, showing his character development. I know how moving can be a pain and really stressy, so we are awaiting our great storyteller back! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ))((

ooc: (okay... that ought to be dramatic, depending on timing. Solo's going to land, holding a gun out of ammo just as Vendetta pulls up on the bike for the teleportation of all to safety. I'm going to be off work Thursday, so I'll try to squeeze out the turn order and call for FEATs Thurs. night). I'll be moving over the weekend of the 14th - 16th, then back to our regularly scheduled mayhem, already in progress

ooc: My apologies foir not getting this out sooner. Or maybe I'm just craving some game time. Regardless, I needed a break from packing up for my move next weekend, so I decided to squeeze this turn order for FEATs so we can keep moving the scene(s) along. Elixir's actions in the homeless shelter are technically 6 seconds (1 round) in the future from now. That's somewhat important, given the possible teleportation onto that scene by Solo and Vendetta next round. I foresee an epic defining moment for this team coming in this climatic moment. This is what role playing games are made for, y'all. I'm well pleased with everyone's contributions (sniffle). I mean that.
Go ahead and roll FEATS and make Karma spending declarations as desired, and I'll get the interpretations and next turn situation report out ASAP. Once I'm in my apartment after next weekend and have my internet access back up, I'm going back into hitting the ground running mode. This game is too freakin' awesome ===== In a rough neighborhood of the Bronx, outside the thug doctor's apartment...10) SWAT #5 threatening tenants with pepper mace if they don't go back inside (with this rough neighborhood crowd, -2CS Popularity FEAT for a cop here at best) 10) SWAT #6 radioing for more backup (auto action) 9) SWAT #4 shoves tenants back with his rifle (Strength FEAT) 8) Ninja #3 leaping down to lot to cross over to climb building Solo and Vendetta are on (Agility FEAT) 6) SWAT #1 climbs atop the roof of the thug doctors apartment looking for shooters (Intuition FEAT) 3) Vendetta 2 firing on Ninja #3 as he leaps down to his bike (need two rolls Agility +2cs shooting FEAT, and an unmodified Agility Tuimbing FEAT) 3) SWAT #3 climbing rickety fire escape to roof top (Agility FEAT) 2) Solo 2 firing MPK5 full auto at Ninja #5 as he leaps down to the street (Agility FEAT) 2) Ninja #5 draws and tosses shuriken darts at Solo (calling shots at Solo's eyes) as he draws his katana (Agility FEAT) 2) SWAT #2 climbing rickety fire escape to roof top (Agility FEAT) 1) Crowd angrily pushing back at the SWAT team (Strength FEAT) ====== Meanwhile, at the homeless shelter on the Lower East Side....9) Elixir taking on his titanium form and tackling Ninja #1 (one area Endurance Charging FEAT) 7) Jenkins 7 throwing a steel chair at Ninja #1 (Agility FEAT) 7) Ninja #1 tossing smoke powders to use Stealth attempting escape (Agility Dodging FEAT... I'm going to roll here then consider modifers of Jenkin's "misile" attack when I make his FEAT roll later.)
