The Bat-Tumbler vehicle is probably the only thing I didn't like about the Batman Begins / Dark Knight movies. Since I'm basing as much as possible on comics rather than movies, Batman's pimp ride has batwing scalloped tailfins, but still enough spycar gadgety to make James Bond and Q envious.
I can see Vendetta building a military vehicle something like that. Not from scratch on Excellent personal resources, but at least the design and blueprints can be commisioned to prototype for his weapons design career. Maybe even Oldschool would help.
And, you never know when you might impress sponsors with lots of cash, either government or otherwise.

Well if its been commisioned, I'll HAVE to build a prototype, which they will have to front me the money for, right otherwise how will I know if there are any problems with the design ;D

ooc: this might take a bit of creativity, heh. For what Spellbound has told me offline, the use of Time Control will be towards "dilating time" for everyone in the room except herself when the power kicks in after this current round. Basically, to her perspective, bullets that travel through the air at 10 areas+ per round will be moving at around 1/3rd of an area per what she would count as six seconds. To everyone else's perspective, time is moving at normal speed, except their view of things outside the Time Control field will be blurred - outside the field 3 minutes will pass in the 6 seconds percieved by those in the field. Which is going to be interesting to everyone outside the field looking in (like Shockwave) who will see everything in the bar moving in slow motion. We've got a round to go before this happens, but I wanted to give a head's up on how trippy Time Control can be / will be / was... hehehe. Hmm...that could really suck if I let the guys outside blow up the building.

Yes, it would suck. But at least Spellbound would possibly see the building begin to explode in slow motion, and maybe have enough time to drag and toss everyone out of the building....
Also, an exploded building destroys evidence, such as the gizmo the HYDRA agents are messing with.
It's gonna be a trippy effect, nonetheless.

Just as a fun side-project, I've been reworking my old Earth-8603 "combined Marvel / DC timeline" for the Gang Wars Trilogy setting / campaign we're running here, sliding events back and forth in time to fit the background of the game here. I could post the whole thing (20 billion BC to 2009 AD) but it would take a lost of cut and pasted posts. I was thinking most everyone would prefer to see "recent history" to give an idea of what characters might know about the history of the world they live in. For the game record, Superman made his public debut in late 1999 by our game time line (we're currently in "October 2009") The Fantastic Four's first appearance was in 2001. The most recent Marvel and DC events in our game background were the death of Captain Mar-Vell and Batman forming the Outsiders, which means the Beyonder's Secret Wars and the Crisis on Infinite Earths are set in what would be out game's year 2010. The first decade of the 21st Century pretty much spans Marvel Comics stories from 1961 to 1984. Heroes lead busy lives Anyone interested in seeing my mad ravings?

Still tweaking it here and there, but I should have it cranked out by this time next week. Some of the "Gotham gang wars" stuff that Batman and company participated in "a few game years ago" is matching up right and proper with Daredevil and Spider-Man's histories in New York....

The game is moving along at a casual pace. I think (at this writing) we're just waiting on Renegade's fighting FEAT roll. The upcoming Chapter 8 is similar to the way the actual module is written... it's "downtime" for the heroes to assemble what they know and what they've acquired for a big showdown in Chapter 9, which will see the return of Deadpool (hey, he read ahead) Chapter 8 is where you heroes come up with a name for your group, as Renegade and Vendetta join. The Paladin Institute will give you all a headquarters to deck out, and you'll have a few missing persons to unite around finding... Oldschool, Stick, Felicia Bifrost, Windchill, and...

What a waste of a 100. It's even on a feat roll I don't know if I'll need.
Hopefully I have the required feat rolls from my side that I won't hold things up for a bit (since everyone else is moving slower). If more will be needed, just let me know. I figured unless there is a surprise (or I'm doing initiative against the bomb) then my initiative is a moot point.

Actually that's the best initiative roll you can have, especially if you're disarming the bombs. I'm creating a little dramatic tension here. Spellbound's telling everyone not to leave the building, and Shockwave's understanding of the bombs should have him trying to get them out of the building as fast as possible. Spellbound knows if the slo-mo folks leave the building before she catches them up to normal speed time, some time travel disasters are possible. Shockwave knows if the heroes don't get out of the building, the coroner will be collecting them with Q-tips. Fun fun

For Shockwave's part, a 100 roll should do than just disarm the bombs. It should tell him some info about the make and model of said bombs as well.

Oh the bombs are fairly common blow stuff straight to hell type charges. It's the ultra high techy HYDRA gizmo that the detonator is in that Shockwave is going to know quite a bit about. He couldn't have rolled better on that.
