What do you think I had in mind when I created the mighty mulleted terror in the first place? >8-D For some reason, I could see Flashdance's technique for teleporting AC units being: 1) Teleport on top of the AC unit 2) Teleport with the AC unit a number of stories about the target beasty 3) "Bullride" the AC unit on the way down, including one hand waving in the air and "yee-hah" calls. 4) Teleporting off AC unit just before impact.

Well, the plan is to do an overly exaggerated backflip off of the AC right before impact, but you pretty much summed it up perfectly otherwise :-)

I was under the impression that Flashdance's "teleport others" power stunt meant he was teleporting others (objects / people), but not necessarily himself, hence ugly artillery barrage...

My reading of the character sheet is he can do that too. (FD, correct us if we are reading that wrong.) That is exactly what I was thinking he'd do at first.
However, can you really compare AC artillery to AC bullriding? The visual on the latter is well worth the complete lack of efficiency in the tactic.

Well, regular teleporting lets you carry people / objects with you. The Teleport Others power lets you send people / stuff elsewhere, not necessarily traveling with them.
When I saw the Flashdance character sheet for the first time, I envisioned him teleporting thugs up in the air a bit, then knocking them for homeruns with an Incredible-strength whack of the baseball bat.
But I'm a sick puppy like that.

I actually (or think I did) buy both powers - teleport and teleport others. Both will allow you to teleport mass up to your max strength rate, but "teleport others" if I'm reading it right will let you attempt it without traveling with the item, and, for at least a little distance out of touch range. Useful for tricks like teleporting objects (grenades into rooms, buckets of water into engines, or maybe farm animals into enemy bedrooms; you know, for what ever reason) to where you want them. It even lets you teleport parts of non-living mass vs the entire object, which can be pretty devious as well.
The tradeoff is thought that (and hopefully I interpreted this wrong) Teleport others is a 3 round event - the teleport, the travel, the landing). Not quite as fast as a regular teleport, making it not as accurate on the moving target. Riding the AC via regular teleport seemed like the way to go, especially for a totally over the top showboating redneck teleporter!
Besides - how often do you get to smack your enemies with an AC unit?
