Introduction and Discussion

I have two newspapers and an intro post I'm editing to get up this weekend. Want to apologize for already getting behind my schedule. Changed jobs over the holidays, and it shook a lot up around here.

Hoping our newcomer will be able to get a character together in the next week or so as well so we can really get things going for real.

I love the underdog heroes like this as well. It's a very different type of game from the far more powerful heroes you normally see.

We have 4 characters submitted (well 5, with two options from one player). We have a 5th player who may or may not be interested. I'm happy moving forward either way.

The Peabody jumper issues seem like they can fit skills for a lot of characters, so I decided that would be a good opening. I'm going to leave this open for some OOC discussion and questions first, before starting the first IC thread.

Background:
RJ Chilton is easily bored. College, business investment, martial arts, race car driving, dating…he excelled at all of them, and so he quickly lost interest. By day, to the public at large, Chilton is ultimately a spoiled, self-involved, boorish waste of potential.

But it’s all just an act. RJ Chilton has been planning for this for years. Learning the skills to accomplish his goals and crafting a public persona to distance himself from his activities, RJ is now ready to make amends for the day, 17 years ago, when his father chose a life of crime over poverty and inadvertently destroyed two families with three bullets. err... i am a bit confused, what happened to Kid Icarus? Are you planning to play both him and Mockingbird 2?

Damn Omen thats one nice char pic - I wish I was that artistically inclined - after City of Heroes closed down I have no way of making a char pic that I feel satisfied with

thanks I just used GIMP to swap the colors and adjust the lighting on the original Red Robin (new 52) pic. it's actually fairly easy to do. One of these days I'm going stop being lazy and actually sketch something

I spent so much time thinking about stunts and advancements for kid icarus that i got bored with the concept. plus, I didn't want him to be another Omen (who, while my favorite character I've ever played in any game, is pretty much so well defined that it's hard to use him as a team player while still being true to his character).

mockingbird is pretty much where he needs to be right out of the box, while still having room to grow and develop on a team-focused level. So I'll just be using him.

Shockwave, will there be anywhere for "fan fic"/blue booking? I kind of want to do a light intro story just to flesh out the RJ Chilton identity a little more for myself.

Mockingbird II actually looks very similar to a character I was thinking of playing - basically a copy of the first Vulturions who were ofcourse copies of the Vulture
