I'm a huge fan of the recent "Guardians of the Galaxy" series, as well as all the Rann-Thanagar War stuff from around Infinite Crisis and I've been thinking of trying to adapt either the "Cosmos Cubed" or the FF "Warlord of Balurr"+ trilogy into a "Cosmic 'street level' " campaign. I'm a little overbooked on time currently, but if anyone would be interested I'd certainly be willing to give it a go in the future...
edit:...heh..."Warlord of Qward"...

(Sorry I didn't notice this posting until just now.) Hmmm. A cross between Annihilation and the Sinestro Corps War? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I'm just looking to be a lowly player in other games as well as Campaign Judge in my own game... I'll play in just about anything super heroey. I'm fairly flexible to any additions to the "tapestry" of expanding the MSHG game universe. If someone in another game uses the Infinity Gauntlet to turn everyone in the universe into anthropomorphic potato-head people, if that game is set during the same time period as another game here, the people in other games all become tater-heads. Which is why the cosmic doo-dads must be governed judiciously. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

*light bulb*
I think I have some Mayfair DC Heroes modules on a disc around here somewhere I can play around with too...
I'd like to keep it within the same time period as the current game (unless I 1)get some free time 2) get suddenly inspired 3) find out/remember if that legion sourcebook had a sample module in it/have a legion module...in which case I'd love to blend the two 31st centuries...)
...but...gotta love synchronicity...if we jump two years forward, we have both "the evolutionary war" at marvel and "millennium" at dc...so we MIGHT be able to configure an event happening within the context of both that would serve as a jumping off point for a cosmic thing...
Rann-Thanagar War/Annihilation have that same synchronicity and I think it'd be pretty easy to tie the annihilation waves entrance into the positive universe with alexander luthor and superboy-prime's...crap...the omen is an aftereffect of a reality punch lol...shifting the center of the universe...
...but then I also like the image in my of Richard Rider and Hal Jordan against Sinestro and Ultron (standing in for the Cyborg Superman)...
...in fact, I REALLY like that image...

"Teenage Mutant Anthropomorphic Potato-Head People!"
Speaking of new campaigns, what do you guys think of a Dimension hopping campaign? I ran a couple of those and had great success with them. Basicly imagine sliders, only crazier worlds (also some based on other media).

I'd be up for either either as Vendetta, or as a completely new hero - perhaps Doc Samson or Ghostrider, or maybe even Agent X, or Garrison Kane, or, Malcolm of the XSE or seeing that one IS a dimension hopping one, an alternate version of one of my favorite villains Taskmaster - but as a hero ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) oh and lets not forget one of my favorite X-men - Havoc

Before a terminal, irrecoverable hard drive crash, I had a timeline for the MSHG universe (from which I excerpted the "Modern Age of Heroes" that appears here on the forums) from 20 Billion BC to a "possible" 3010 AD.
It was huge (like a 5 megabyte text file). I had sent the raw data to Task, but if he can't send it back, I could possibly piece another one together over a few weeks of free time.

Captain America: "Wonder Woman! I haven't seen you since the Battle of Markovia 68 years ago!"
Wonder Woman: "Sorry Captain. That was my mother."

I'll keep looking for it. I'm on my third computer since recieving the file, but I'm really hoping it's on one of my external hard drives! I'm incredibly shamed I didn't take better care of it, for it was impressively detailed and large... a true labor of love, if ever there was one. I guess I always assumed you'd be able to back up my copy if I misplaced it.

What I have in thoroughness, I lack in organization, if that makes sense ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Much of what I had worked out is still in my head.... I wish I was my character Glitch so I could just "think" it uploading onto the internet and poof it would be there... I've smoked too many bowls of Froot Loops. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Hmm. I wonder if it might be in my earth8603@yahoo.com sent folder... I **really** wish I still had my SHIELD command hierarchy chart I was working on, that spliced in DC's Checkmate... Dang computer crashes. Speaking of Glitch, he originally started out as a character in an Exiles-type time / dimension hopping game.... hmmm Edit: no joy in the sent folder... it only had schwag back to Dec 2010... and I sent that file to you sometime in the summer of 2009...

Sidekick I fell you I lost some irreplacable campaign materials, and to be honest the best thing to do is to give it time then replace it or make something better.

Sidekick I fell you I lost some irreplacable campaign materials, and to be honest the best thing to do is to give it time then replace it or make something better. Well, the hard work was already done, as the internet already has outstanding and comprehensive timelines of the Marvel and DC universes put together by fans. My work was primarily putting the two sets of raw data together into one ginormous timeline that made sense. I thought of it as the Marvel timeline and DC timelines being "gears" and the critical events of both universes being "teeth" and where the teeth lock together would produce the MSHG universal timeline, as I did by lining up the Secret Wars and Crisis on Infinite Earths events as being the SAME event, and starting the Gang Wars Game just right after Contest of Champions and right before Secret Wars. It put the Avengers off Earth for the Kree-Skrull War at the same time the Justice League formed. Marvel and DC play off of each other's ideas so much (whether they admit it or not...) that mashing them together into a steady danceable remix isn't really all that hard. It's actually frighteningly eerie how well they mesh together. But, Jack Kirby DID set down the cosmologies of both universes... Just gotta scrounge the internet for all those cool websites I "borrowed" from and make MSHG soup from their contents again ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Also they sometimes have fun with it. I remember a spiderman comic where spiderman was "called" in a sence, just like batman (somebody pointing a spidey simbol into the sky) and spidey said, "Gotham here I come". I loved that.

So, who all is interested in running a game campaign here? We could have two or more games running here, all in the same happy multiverse ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I'd be happy to help tie them all together, bouncing off the trampoline foundations I've laid ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)
