I wouldn't mind starting something later on in the year. As I mentioned, I'm kinda itching to do something "cosmic street-level" a la GotG v.2, L.E.G.I.O.N., and the like). Alternately, I could throw together a horror themed ongoing campaign (falling somewhere between "Darkhold: Pages from the book of sin" and..."Justice League Dark" is the only supernatural team book that springs to mind right now).
...or something with ninjas...you can never go wrong with ninjas...
...space ninjas vs space pirates...

I'll be doing good to keep up with playing the next few months. No way I'm in a position to run anything.

If we get to do a higher level campaign, I'd like to call dips on Ultraboy/Jo Nah

If we get to do a higher level campaign, I'd like to call dips on Ultraboy/Jo Nah Awesome! I'm not sure how the "possible future" timelines of 31st Century Marvel and DC would blend together, or how Kang, Immortus, the TVA, the Exiles, the Linear Men, Monarch, Abra Kadabra, and the Time Trapper all flip together (maybe that's why they're all fighting for control of "the" universal timeline, heh) but I'd probably create a far-future Hodomurian gestalt Reality-Nexus hunter character (like Century, from Force Works) maybe mixed with a Forerunner temporal anomaly killer.

I finally got around to looking through my pdfs and I do have several LoSH modules...specifically 3 (so far...I gotta check discs) out of a 4 part series. I THOUGHT I had a Darkseid focused one but I may be remembering the physical copy that I've long since sold.
just going on point creation value, the LoSH series I'm guessing is an average group ability rank of AM(?) while the "Four horseman of Apokolips" module is/was...probably around UN.
...so, judging from the hypothetical Hodomurian Forerunner and Ultra-Boy, I'm guessing modifiying the Darkseid/New Gods stuff would be the most challenging (the max creation points for the LoSH series being the least amount you should use for "Four Horsemen"...)
edit
Ah..."2001-4000" (the darkseid module) = "Justice League without Superman"

well, since this IS the 'new' campaign area, thought I'd put some input in... I've been planning on running (sadly) my own universe set up using the Heroes Unlimited rule set (No one likes playing Marvel anymore! ). I can and might just change the setting enough to incorporate the use of Marvel Superheroes rule set, but I'd like the universe to stay the same which is: Think Gotham City, but without all the 'put the bad guys into jail' heroes (for the most part). ------------------------------------------- The city's name is Epicity (which is where I'm focusing the majority of the 'Story Arcs' to take place, since I am a pretty big newbie when it comes to GMing). It's referred to as the epicenter or the 'Epic' city where heroes and villains constantly battle it out for 'control' of the cit, which spans for almost a hundred miles all around. It is it's own state, being the 52nd (Costa Rica was 51st) This is set in the near future. Heroes and Villians both have a 'society' or group of their own (names are still pending ^.^) and there are CASUALTIES on both sides almost daily. Because Epicity is literally the center of the United States, has the highest amount of technological advancement, one of the largest magical nexuses in the entire world, an area where most dimensional barriers coexist , and for some strange reason where most mutants are born(perhaps because of all the other stuff going on...), it literally has people joining sides or doing their own heroic or villainous acts Solo (hehe...). The police have developed a team that has technology specifically to disable heroes and villains peacefully; strange enough, they seek out any super person who has done something illegal, regardless if it was good intentioned. Some police are lenient with the heroes because they cannot handle everything, but they still have a job to do. They (majority) view Vigilantes as if they were villains, and villains as if they were the people who are to end the world (which some do want to do of course ) There is a large military presence in the city to assist the police on larger targets. They have their own Specific program of Heroes that are allowed to do what they wish without penalty from the law. They posses the killing technology to fight Villains, and only fight those unless another powerful being get out of control. Politics wise, it's effectively the Secret War, with heroes being divided on the situation; the main argument being that the military would be the exclusion if the registration bill was passed and that Epicity might be the start of a 'Military State' with the military having the only ability to "hire any super being they claim as a hero to do as they wish" (this is exaggerated). They also cannot restrict the military because their heroes are the most helpful and they threaten to disband the most efficient villain holding cells if the bill is passed. Many politicians are easily swayed by all sides of the arguments as most are 'corrupt', with very few of them actually wanting to make a difference. Many people die on a daily basis, but many people continue to come through many evil plans form the villains, the hope that they will be protected in this 'crime free' place (It's majority super villains who do plots against the heroes, not the civilians. There is a lesser crime rate of normal thugs and such than most states), or just for the hope that they too can have a superpower eventually, somehow. This world is still developing, and so far I have a Skype game going on using OpenRPG. A real-life Pen and paper game is also starting in the near future. And if people are interested on here, then we would have this also. All two (maybe three) campaigns will happen at the same time(ish), and potential cross-overs can and will happen. each hero will also have their own intro story arc for them alone, followed by a group one and from there it just depends. Sub-plots will stem from their very first story arc and others, constantly giving the player the opportunity to allow them to flesh out their character. Only power level not accepted is Cosmic. ---------------------------------------- Epicity Rating Pending from PG-13 to R for Intense Violence, Language, and Graphic Scenes Only in Theaters in Summer of 2012

Things have now loosened up at work. So I'll throw another idea into the mix- I'd be willing to do a lower level street type campaign set away from New York City. Get away from the most publicized heroes and villains, where some low key heroes can try to start to make more of a name for themselves.

Alright...it sounds like we have 3 options on the table. All comes down to what people might be interested in playing.

Or, as another direction, do we want to try and recruit new blood into separate campaigns instead of just multiple campaigns with the same player base.

I know I've been quiet (started a new job recently) but I'd love to jump into an additional campaign. don't think I would trust myself to run one though (not as fam with the rules as you all and time constraints). I just love to chuck dice, albiet digital ones

ID personnally love the cosmic level campaign, Id love to play Lobo or Superman. As for running a game I dont think I can do as I am running a game over at infrno, and Im playing another game, which fills out my time which is aloted to roleplaying. For now atleast I will pass for the possebillity of storyteller duties.

Ultra-Boy, a Forerunner, Lobo or Superman (I think Supes is "off world" in the current timeline so I'd probably want to go with Lobo) ...I'd need at least one more (preferably from the marvel side of the coin, but honestly it's a dc module anyway...)...and I THINK I can run threads from the legion module (in the 31st century) with threads from the MSGH universe timeline of the 21st century as prologue, then weave them both into the main (darkseid focused) adventure which is set in the 21st century...then veer that back into the story from the legion module...
yeah...I think that could work.
