SOLO:
Solo teleports from Brazil and onto the roof of the thug doctor's apartment, donning his nightvision goggles to scan for the sniper that shot the cop as he takes cover behind a chimney. Quickly surveying the scene, he finds that he has teleported straight into the middle of a chaotic battle, and his allies are falling. He first sees that the rooftops are crawling with ninjas wearing the tradtional garb of the Japanese assassin's guild known as the Hand. Three are armed with bows, the other three have katanas drawn (Solo sees all six ninjas). Solo sees Shockwave emit a blast of rippling sonic energy at Ninja #2, but it seems to have no effect. Ninja #2 swiftly strikes Flashdance with his katana, slinging a nasty spray of blood across the rooftop across the street. Flashdance falls and does not get up. Ninja #2 closes with the downed Flashdance, looking to finish him off. Spellbound next to him is struck with arrows and nearly falls off of the building before her familiar reflective field begins swirling around her. Vendetta is on the rooftop with Solo, and an arrow fired by Ninja #3 bounces harmlessly off of his armor before Ninja #4 charges into him, staggering him back and nearly knocking him off the building. Ninja #6 leaps onto the thug doctor's rooftop next to Vendetta. Suddenly there is the sound of a ricocheted bullet and Shockwave is hit in mid-air. As Shockwave's armor emits a high-pitched grinding noise, he crashes into the water tower atop the building where Ninja #2, Flashdance, and Spellbound are, knocking the water tower over before bouncing to crash land unceremoniously atop the next building over. Shockwave does not get up, and water is gushing out of the tower he rammed into. Solo scans the surrounding rooftops and spots the sniper, recognizing him as the notorious trickshot mercenary and assassin known as Deadshot. It is a target rich environment, but Flashdance appears to be in the most in danger at the moment as Ninja #2 looms over him with his sword.. Vendetta seemed to be taking a defensive stance as Solo teleported in. Hopefully he can dispatch the two ninjas that have joined him and Solo on the thug doctor's rooftop. Solo hears the SWAT van and ambulance pull up at the end of the block.

SHOCKWAVE:
As Shockwave flies, he notices Ninja #1 with a bow and Ninja #2 with a katana attacking Flashdance and Spellbound. He attempts to blast stunning sonic energy at Ninja #2, but it seems to not even faze him. Ninja #2 strikes down Flashdance with a brutal stroke of his sword. Shockwave's helmet computer reports...
[soundsource: bullet ricochet] [soundsource: bullet ricochet]
...and begins analyzing where the bullet ricocheted upon when he feels a white hot searing pain in his right hip. From a hole blasted in Shockwave's armor, blood begins to flow. Shockwave is hit badly, and flies out of control into the water tower and bounces off onto the rooftop of the three story building next door. As Shockwave slips into unconsciousness from pain, shock, and blood loss, his helmet computer chimes:
[Armor integrity: 89%] [Systems damaged] [Shutting down]
Shockwave is bleeding, and stunned for 6 rounds.
ooc: Shockwave took no additional damage from his crash.

VENDETTA:
As Vendetta covers the arrival of Solo, he notices six men in ninja garb on the rooftops. None appear to be carrying a gun, but they've made themselves enemies nonetheless. An arrow fired by Ninja #3 bounces harmlessly off of Vendetta's armor, and a ninja (#4) charges into him, staggering him back as Ninja #6 leaps onto the rooftop. Now it's Solo and Vendetta on the thug doctor's roof, with two ninjas that have brought swords to a gunfight... Vendetta sees Shockwave crash into the water tower across the street as the SWAT van and ambulance arrive.
ooc: Vendetta can see all six ninjas, but can not see Deadshot.

FLASHDANCE:
In a over-exaggerated Oriental accent, Flashdance yells his catch phrase "Ret's Dance! and begins to leap at the ninja (#1) that shot Spellbound with an arrow, when the ninja that had kicked him from behind (#2) quickly swatted him down with a sword stroke that cleaves right through his new Beta cloth costume.
FD falls, bleeding and stunned for 6 rounds.

SPELLBOUND:
Striving through the pain of three arrows in her, Spellbound gasps "Mother help me..." Spellbound's familiar swirl of reflective energy begins to cycle around her.

ooc: those conscious (Spellbound, Solo, Vendetta) declare actions and roll initiatives. This may be the moment the psycho killers save the day....

Elixir's communicator crackles with static as he is checking in on Windchill. His cryokinetic mutant friend lies sleeping peacefully, exhausted from his horrible ordeal of the purge of the Kick drug from his genetic structure.
Listening to the communicator, he hears Spellbound's voice, sobbing... "Mother.... mother help me. I'm hit bad... Flashdance is down. Shockwave is down... bleeding badly."
It seems Spellbound's communicator has been keyed somehow and Elixir hears her pained voice, sobbing perhaps a prayer...
Elixir last saw them all at the thug "doctor's" apartment in the Bronx, a good 20 minute drive away on Vendetta's high speed bike.

Vendetta desides to take out the ninja (6) who is the furthest away from Solo first, so he fires his guns at him. <This mess just gets bigger by the minute - if we dont get get it contained - and fast - the cops will be in on it as well. ½ our team is down, and our "medic" is not here> Vendetta thinks to himself as he steels himself for one hell of a fight. Attack roll (Rm +1CS[Marksman] +2CS[Weapons Specialist] +1CS[Military*]) [attack=781796229772621] *not sure if Military also counts as Guns in this particular game. If not just disregard it

If not just disregard it ooc: Unfortunately, weapons talents do not stack for multiple column shift bonuses. So, Vendetta would attack at RM Agility +2CS for his Weapons Specialist talent with pistols. He does, however enjoy the negation of range penalties that Marksman talent provides. Also, we're only rolling initiative at this point, so don't roll the attack FEAT yet Also, Vendetta has two heavy pistols? For -4CS, he can fire on multiple targets, up to the fire rate of both pistols. Let me know if you want to add an additional target to the fun. Heavy pistols have a fire rate of 1 per round, so Vendetta can fire both pistols at two seperate targets without range penalties with RM Agility -2CS! And spending Karma on the shooting FEAT is always an option Each pistol has 6 shots. I assume seperate pistols were used to shoot through the door and shoot off the thug doctor's hand, so each pistol has 5 bullets left in them. You may want to use Karma while you can. The thug doctor is bleeding to death....
Vendetta's initiative this round will be 8, due to rolling 7 above and the +1 to initiative that Weapon Specialist talent provides.[/i]
