ooc:
Spellbound's yellow power stunt FEAT worked, and she will have Remarkable Time Control power after this upcoming round. The power itself as listed in the Advanced Players Book lists several possible starting power stunts. I will only allow one of these effects per turn, except for time travel proper (time travel isn't impossible, just rather unhelpful at this juncture). If the lightning speed / hyper-speed effect is chosen, Spellbound will be able to perform up to 30 rounds worth of actions in one round, but keep in mind that fatigue is cumulative. With Spellbound's Excellent Endurance, she has a possibility of tiring out after performing 20 rounds worth of actions, as doing 3 minutes worth of work in 6 seconds can work up a sweat...

Shockwave closes the distance with the men on the roof, preparing to take action.
(Still assuming I'll be in range to do stuff next round.)

OCC - sorry for the lull in posting, I'm easing back to work in the "real world" after about a 2 month hiatus and it is definitely an adjustment - slowing things down a little. Here's a quick roll to keep the action moving; sorry if I slowed things down a little
FD make the evasion feat roll -

ooc: this might take a bit of creativity, heh. For what Spellbound has told me offline, the use of Time Control will be towards "dilating time" for everyone in the room except herself when the power kicks in after this current round. Basically, to her perspective, bullets that travel through the air at 10 areas+ per round will be moving at around 1/3rd of an area per what she would count as six seconds. To everyone else's perspective, time is moving at normal speed, except their view of things outside the Time Control field will be blurred - outside the field 3 minutes will pass in the 6 seconds percieved by those in the field. Which is going to be interesting to everyone outside the field looking in (like Shockwave) who will see everything in the bar moving in slow motion. We've got a round to go before this happens, but I wanted to give a head's up on how trippy Time Control can be / will be / was... hehehe.

ooc: It's the dawn of the failed FEAT rolls. Most of the heroes failed their FEATs, but virtually all of the bad guys failed theirs this round... each of the results below are specifically the named character's point of view...
Renegade:
Paul swings a roundhouse kick at the thug that nailed him with a baseball bat, but misses. The thug misses with a followup swing on Paul.
The crazy dominatrix is getting up from the floor. Her chain leaps from her arm and flies at Paul, but misses completely, floating in mid-air.
Spellbound:
Spellbound cycles up a power to control the flow of time, and the sounds of the combat in the pool hall slow down to a unrecognizable low bass hum. In the field of darkness. she sees the dance of reddish light emitted from Solo's pendant slow down to a near freeze frame as she's moving much faster than time is flowing for those gathered here.
Solo:
The inky darkness surrounding Solo is barely penetrated by the reddish glow of the strange pendant around his neck. Solo stumbles around in the darkness, groping for anything to find cover, but finds none. Something furry brushes against his face and growls. He hears Spellbound's voice speed up until it becomes a high pitched chirp.
Flashdance and Elixir:
The punk with a bat lunges at Flashdance, but misses clumsily as FD easily sidesteps him [FD now has +1cs bonus against him due to successful Evasion]
The two Gutter Pirate thugs with guns that FD and Elixir appeared behind wheel around on their heels to face them, pointing their guns at Flashdance and Elixir. One of them says "What are you, Mullet Man and the Silver Sidekick? Don't move or we'll cap you right here. Be nice, ladies, hand over the Key and nobody gets hurt... much."
[Elixir's Catalytic Control FEAT to disintegrate their clothing failed]
All heroes in the pool hall but not in Darkforce field:
Tommy Bifrost wriggles free of his arm and ankle restraints and stands up near the destroyed front entrance of the pool hall.
A Buzzcut thug runs out of the entrance, pursued by a Batboy and a Gutter Pirate. As soon as they hit the sidewalk, their run becomes a blur of superspeed and they disappear. Cars passing by the pool hall also become a blur of lights passing by.
Shockwave:
Strangely, all of the noise from the combat inside the pool hall completely stops, as two thugs chase another down the sidewalk.
Atop of the pool hall, Shockwave hears one of the HYDRA agents exclaim as he fiddles with the strange device. "This is weird. One of the mutants disappeared off the scope, and everybody else is standing still. Should we blow the building?"
Another says, "No, we have to wait until Shroud and the others have retrieved the Key. Then we blow them all up."
"I don't like how this is turning out. Why are they all just standing still?"
"Stay focused. Finish up setting the detonation charges and we'll get out of here."
[Shockwave is now in range to declare actions.]
=====
ooc: declare actions and roll initiatives. Spellbound, consult with me on what you're going to do with your 3 minutes worth of actions...

Shockwave takes aim at the Hydra agents on the roof, a bit worried about the last time he opened fire from the air with his sonic weapons, but knowing he doesn't have time to land before bringing these guys down. Using a sonic frequency in the stunning range, he opens up with a barrage of sonic force.
(Sweep stunning attack.)

Renegade's senses told him that something happening besides the intense cloud of darkness but he focused more of his attention in bringing the hoodlum he was fighting down.
(Renegade is going to use a judo chop to see if he can knockout the thug.)

Elixir sighs as the thugs go into "Hey, we're cool, we've got guns and talk tough" mode. Elixir will reach out a silvery hand and take the first thug's gun away.
(OOC - Elixir's forgetting he's in silver vs. titanium form and acting like he's still pretty invulnerable)
