Back from Vegas. Only thing I think that stayed there was my son's shoe. Still can't figure out what happened to it.

Just wanted to say that this game rocks. From the hidden cameos (like Martian Manhunter way back), the injection of hard science (Weismann Barrier), and the realistic characters (all!).

holey moley.... Flashdance is stunned out and bleeding badly. Spellbound is wounded badly. Shockwave is wounded and bleeding and may crash. Vendetta may be kicked off the rooftop for more damage... I didn't realize the Hand Ninjas were going to be this bad ass. I can't believe I rolled 99% Red for Ninja #2's stun check vs. Shockwave's stun blast. Maybe the lucky rolls will come for the players next round.... Time for Solo to make everyone appreciate him

Who would have thought that the ninjas would get us so much worse than the Night Shift or the dreadnoughts.
Bad luck + underestimating opponents + lack of Oldschool is hurting here.

In Shockwave's defense, I thought Deadshot was going to miss.
I think it's a point of irony, that Solo's and Vendetta's more brutal methods are probably going to save everyone in this situation. Something to throw into the soup of the team dynamics. At least Vendetta will be an asset to repairing / improving Shockwave's armor later.
It really does rest on psycho killer Solo's shoulders. Is he gonna pick off Deadshot, or take out Ninja #2 before he kills Flashdance?
I don't think Vendetta, being Marine trained, will intentionally leave teammates behind, though there's hella Karma doing it the hard way (i.e. not killing the SWAT Team).
As I said in the game thread, I'm not out to kill anyone's character and I've got a backup "deus ex machina" if it goes that way.
Elixir should be able to heal the wounded, if they can be taken back to the homeless shelter.
And of course, there's the issue of Vendetta blasting dude's hand off couple with dumbass / possibly corrupt cops.
The situation is a Mexican standoff, really.

Great time for Solo and Vendetta to use karma for killshots...keeps me from having to help the ninjas since I'm catching some Z's.

There is a point of finesse here. If the ninjas are not killed by the gunfire, but are stunned, their costumes will kill them (disintegrating their bodies and leaving no evidence behind, Ninja of the Hand style) so on a technicality, the kill shots might not cause Karma loss as the killing blow would come from their costumes, not the gunfire. Just depends on how badly the ninjas botch their Endurance FEATs. About the only killing that doesn't lose Karma no matter what in my games is the killing of Nazi soldiers. They should be killed for all manner of reasons including because their deaths have entertainment value.

I'm Blues Brothers on that. I hate Southern Illinois Nazis. Well, all Nazis, really. I'm sure there might be some smidgen of Karma loss associated with violating the Geneva Conventions to kill surrendered Nazis. But the "did the world a favor" Karma bonus likely cancels it out

I like youre glitch character (He's Hungarian, well Latverian, which was a southern part of Marvels Hungary, makes sence that Stan Lee put it there since his ancestors are from Romania), I just have some suggestions since I am half-hungarian. The short form, or nickname of Miklos would be "Miki".

I also like how you merged real Hungarian History with Marvels Latveria and DC Eastern european timeline. Good Job! I actually have a Hungarian Superhero I might Wanna bring the game .

Thanks for the tip. Miki for Miklos. He originally acquired the nickname "Mik" in another game. If I get to play him, it'll be the first time playing a version of him that is unaware of the existence of alternate timelines. (He was on an Exiles-type team) My prior Marvel / DC combined universe game online, the Earth-8603 setting, started off during / after the Beyonders Secret War / Crisis on Infinite Earths and the "original" hails from that reality. The MSHG universe (where we're playing the Gang Wars game) has basically the same history as my Earth-8603 game but the timescale is different. We're experiencing 1980s storylines in the year 2009 here, whereas in Earth-8603, all that had already happened "10 years ago." If we do a SW / COIE here, by the MSHGU timeline it would / will fall in 2010. The MSHG universe is basically an "alternate past" to Earth-8603 I'm probably going to rework Glitch altogether, since he can't have Ultimate Skill - Computers under our current power level caps.
