Just wanted to thank everyone for doing what you do to make this game continue to thrive. It's lasted longer so far than any other PBEM / forum game I've ever been part of, and that's all on y'all for sticking around. Hats off to all of ya.
I like our casual pace, and that the game is still attracting new players to weave into the story. I'm almost tempted to break the restraints of the Gang Wars Trilogy module and move on to exploring the campaign world / universe as a whole, but on the other hand, I'm enjoying the build up of the team from the ground up to get there. I'm liking the role-playing dynamics of which characters get along with other characters and which ones rub people the wrong way and such. In the end, the last chapter of "After Midnight" we may go on to something entirely made up by me whole cloth rather than starting the next module, but that's like 30 chapters from now.
We'll be playing together a long time I hope.

The game as been great, with both the players and GM writing great posts in both roleplaying and content. It's been a lot of fun and I think we all appreciate your work into it! Thanks, and you can have me to kick around as long as you want :-)

It does help to have much of the landscape and chronology of a combined Marvel / DC world prepackaged from years of trying to perfect the dynamics of it in previous campaigns going all the way back to my teen years. Setting the game in early to mid 1980s comics storylines gives a whole palette of "future" known coolness to move into, to be fully altered by the fact that well, it's a Marvel + DC universe plus new characters you all have come up with. Chapter 9 is going to hint at the mercenaries and hitmen Hammerhead is assembling for himself. We know Deadpool is going to be one, but I'm dipping into DC baddies as well, and from there a little deeper immersion into this playground of comic book fanboyishness. If TasK will bump up my access level here to be able to create new boards, I'd like to begin assembling a "reference section" of history, locations, and bizarre stuff Really, we oughta tip our hats to TasK for constructing this arena for our game and really the idea of playing the GWT, which I snapped up and ran with like a crack head with a stolen TV set. Really, this has been a wonderful gaming experience all around, and still will be

I apologize, DSk. I thought you could create boards. I'll up your status to admin, immediately.

Ah, I won't let the power go to my head. Sweet! With all the work you've done running this campaign, the title and priviledges were long overdue. Now, seriously. Give me something to work on! I've a ton of creativity and no one/ nothing to throw it at.

I see people playing a few characters, bouncing around from location to location (as we add them), interacting with other characters (both PC and NPC) in random and planned awesomeness. I see PC villains robbing banks and PC heroes showing up to try and stop them. I'm still content to wait, but it's what I envisioned when I started the site

I've a ton of creativity and no one/ nothing to throw it at. Well, let me familiarize myself with the new set of bells and whistles that came with my admin upgrade, but I'd really like to create a navigatible campaign setting reference section (board) full of sticky read only categories like: Chronology of the Multiverse Atlas of the Multiverse Organizations (just off the top of my head) ...to be filled with content later as my free-time permits. Basically place all the campaign material in one section, and our rowdy banter and crazy ideas in another. I'd also like to perhaps eliminate the unused "solo missions" board and perhaps replace / rename it as a seperate danger room section non-campaign related to referee / play test characters against each other in grueling death matches, if that sounds fun. Maybe we can help settle vs. thread debates with our casual play by post style if it catches on. But mostly, I wanted to slap all my world-building stuff into one section.

Changed the 'Solo Missions' to reflect your ideas. I wouldn't mind seeing some cool versus threads. Instead of the endless debate, get in the ring and get to it! lol

PC villains? That's a scary concept, but a logical step after we set in stone the city / country / world / galaxy / universe they'd be threatening. Of course, the hammer throwing and heat vision blasting super big dog NPC heroes might put them down if they get tooooo world-threatening. I lean towards PC heroes only, but PC villains is a considerable idea. I'd like to give them a world to destroy worth saving first.

Of course, the hammer throwing and heat vision blasting super big dog NPC heroes might put them down if they get tooooo world-threatening. That's, more or less, how I see it. The bigger the potential damage, the higher chance that someone out of your league shows up to stop it, just at the last second if the PC heroes aren't able to. Not much sense in destroying our campaign omni-verse on the first day, lol

Although I'm fairly new here I have to say i enjoy my time here quite a lot so much in fact that i have stopped playing two star wars characters i had started on a different forum

Alright, I'll npc Renegade into the background and have something for him from a subplot tie into later chapters when you get back.
