OK so Ive rolled 'Humanoid Race' with 'Chemical Exposure' for origin. Humanoids roll Abilities on column 5, they can raise any one Ability +1, their starting resources are Poor and their starting Resource is their Race.

well that sounds .... interesting - the hero can almost use the opposite slogan of Wolverine lol Lol, too true. Especially considering how important Reason is for the power's efficiency and the general lack of Reason for the character. I see this alien as one who's going to get beat up by Will Smith's MIB character after several failed illusion attempts.

Well very interesting rolls. Had he not been a normal human he would have been a very interesting character will some great stat rolls.
So he is a TY guy who got augmented with a Biological Exposure to increase his Fighting, Agility, and Strength. His powers are Linguistics IN, Enlargement IN, Water Walking RM, Iron Will EX, Extradimensional Detection GD.
His Skills are Computer Security & Encryption and Stamina.
So he knows alot of languages, so Cypher? He can make targets grow, so Giant Man? He can walk on water, so Jesus? He has got Iron Will, that's cool. And he can see other dimensions, so Timothy Leary?
He has novice skills in weapons engineering, and he can go into a trance. This guy is all over the map. Anyone else got any ideas on how to purpose this character's rolls?

Now I used the old rules of the advance set I would get ...
Altered Human F RM A AM S IN E IN R GD I GD P EX
RESOURCES TY+1CS POWERS 4/4, TALENTS 3/4, CONTACTS 2/4
POWERS 1. DISTANCE ATTACK/ ENERGY GD 2. DISTANCE ATTACK/ ENERGY EX 3. DISTANCE ATTACK/ SOUND IN 4. BODY DEFENSIVE/ RECOVERY RM
TALENTS 1. MILITARY 2. PHYSICS 3. THROWN WEAPONS
This guy is very different and a bit redundant in his powers. 3 different types of energy project, 1 which is sound. With his thrown weapons talents I would say he is kinda like a Gambit, but throwing 2 energy types and 1 sound type. So maybe Light to blind, Fire to burn, and Sound to deafen. He is a Flash Bang grenade.

Knows many languages, growing, waterwalking, iron will and see other dimensions... most would think him some sort of diety. Weapons engineering and trance... hmmm.... Accidently sent from the future in a horrible time traveling experiment gone awry, this normal human discovered strange new powers activated by an ancient atmosphere.... and used them to convince the locals that he was a diety... errr... named Hephaestus where he used his knowledge and weapons engineering to forge weapons of the gods (others caught in the same experiment)... er.. and they became the Greek pantheon... Maybe instead of waterwalking it's lavawalking... I tried, lol

I have a bunch of notebooks full of randomly rolled characters I did way back with the basic and the advanced box sets. LOL Same here. My two boys are 12 and 13 and they discovered my notebooks a few years ago. Most of them had pictures of costume design (poor... costume designs).... the boys get a real kick out of reading them, they were characters and drawings I made when I was their age. I think it boggles their mind that one day their dad was their age, lol. 90% of them I never used, but I was always rolling characters when I was bored. Sometimes a randomly rolled character would inspire a lot of creativity in Judging adventures.
