Rin opened his eyes to look at the large, intimidating, flying monster above him wielding a large object. His eyes opened wide and his blood soon began to pump from this horrific sight; he quickly scurried away, right into a fountain wall. Closing his eyes to block out this horror, he waited for the inevitable, his demise. It might not be that bad: he wouldn't be a burden to anyone, nor would he have to listen to more annoy-
Completely forgetting about the horrific being he saw, his attention is drawn to a group of loud people who are conversing next to him. Engines were sputtering as well as people's words. Then the weapons came out. Things were going to get.. unnecessary.
And, from the start of the conversation that woke him, Reen determines that the cause of this strenuous situation is from the man in the cab. If he was removed.. perhaps these annoying people, whom he has yet to really pay attention to, might become quiet enough for him to enjoy his sleep...
Having already be invisible, he rises from the fountain, using it as a support to get up. Rubbing his now slightly pounding head, he struts up to the man in the cab, going on the opposite side that all the annoyances were on, before opening the door and sitting in the cab to touch the man, hoping to make all of their worries disappear.

[The Omen and Reen]
Disgust.
Revulsion.
The very idea of folding and compressing one’s own metaphysical dimensions into the fragile frame of this insignificant descendant of barely sentient hominids was at once repellent and repulsive to the Mardochaios, Possessing or projecting the form of a human was easy. But to be one, to be… limited was as disgraceful as it was frightening.
It was very much like going to bed as a dragon and waking up to find oneself cowering at gnats. The Mardochaios somewhat envied the blissful ignorance of the humans around him had of just precisely how pathetic and powerless their bodies really were.
This body. It shares a diluted kinship with the Mardochaios. A future possible offspring of the human son of the Mardochaios.
One who could rise in power to rule over other men as the Mardochaios did, when the invading horde of the N’Garai swarmed the vibrant streets of Babel only to be cleaved down by the splendorous axe of the Mardochaios.
They called him a hero, and as his legend spread, they called him a god. And then, he took the portfolios and domains from the other Mesopotamian gods from the Zagros Mountains to the plains of Shinar, to become the greatest god of the Anunnaki.
A false god, made so by men who saw his power and could not in their ignorance conceive of greater. And like many false gods before him, he fell, usurped from his throne as he had usurped and subsumed the thrones of other gods.
But the taste for being worshipped never left the Mardochaios. He craved a return to power, his reduction in station made painfully punctuated by this primate’s fragile flesh was but a symptom of the greater misery, that of a god with knowledge of his own degeneration into near obscurity. Millennia ago, the Mardochaios was worshipped by thousands of these upright-walking primates. Now few of them would even know their once and future ruler walks among them.
Or could.
The human was aware of his lineage, his descendance from the Mardochaios through a son, Daimon Hellstrom and…
Daimon Hellstrom had no son, not yet. This human was a time traveler, fleeing lost universes through reincarnation… a gift from his mother. But he was a refugee from Oblivion. A fragment of the Mardochaios himself wrestled from the end of a possible universe itself and fleeing to another, seeking perhaps one in which the Mardochaios had time to grow more powerful, perhaps enough to survive in the next universe with the power to shape it.
For the Mardochaios once possessed the Tablet of Destinies, in his hands he held the trappings and titles of the Ruler of the Universe.
At least one universe. One so malleable that the past was as nearly changeable as the future, laden with many objects and still more entities that could do the same. The Mardochaios had made it so, upon his stewardship of the Tablet of Destinies tossing it into the seas after etching his Will upon it millenia ago. The son of the Mardochaios and the poisoner, in some possible future long destroyed, had created a vessel, this child, a way out of the impending Oblivion. A living conduit through time and space. But this child cannot contain the full power of the Mardochaios.
The Hell-Lord assessed the situation quickly. The child of Daimon and Lavoisin was embracing his lineage, insomuch as he was summoning forth what fragile connection to the Mardochaios of this world to present to…
Another presence. A manifestation of a child, capable of bridging dream and reality. The child was projected here from elsewhere. Yet independent. Cloned by human science and turned into a reality manipulation weapon. He seeks to release his clones from the service of…
…Set. The elder god has been busy. His servants near their discovery of the Serpent Crown. Mephisto is constructing a Beyondersbane. The Darkness is coming, and in its wake the dawning of a new age of Chaos. The 129 seals that hold back the hordes of N’Garai from this world are safe, for now. But this child of happenstance has others, duplicates from other lost timelines, converging on this one. Fighting for control.
This time-lost child of Lavoisin would prove useful. Instead of Batholomew Jacobs reclaiming himself, perhaps the Mardochaios could claim one, or both. A powerful spell is near completion.
The gnat knows this. The thoughts of the Mardochaios filled the child of Lavoisin’s head. The dreambridger, Reen, concealed the presence of himself and the child of Lavoisin from all but the strongest minds. But the child of Lavoisin is under assault. Another primate, one imbued with the potential for power through his lineage by Celestial tamperings with the Godwave energies. He controls chemical reactions, with some knowledge, though without the hidden mysteries of alchemical magics. This conveyance, the primates call it a “taxi cab,” was stopped by this attacker’s control of chemistry, turning its fuel to degraded sludge. He now takes the form of titanium, trying to rip apart the “taxi” to retrieve the child of Lavoisin. But now the dream-bridger Reen has even made the primate forget what he was doing.
The Mardochaios decided to make his presence known to his summoner, this child of Lavoisin, speaking in his mind in the convenient dreamstuff generated by the one named Reen.
“You are to be the son of the son of Marduk, slayer of Tiamat and Zu, champion of Babel against the N’Garai horde, usurper of heaven and the earth and rightful scribe of the Tablet of Destinies. Will you serve me?”
======
Reen
The dwarf kicked Reen in the head hard….
….
…pavement. Reen woke up on the pavement outside the Angel Towers building, staring up at a massive statue of an angel in combat.
The voices in his head were silent for now.
Just noise. Annoyances.
Shockwave and Elixir were attacking a taxi cab, trying to get to the man in the back seat.
Reen decided to make himself forgotten, along with the man in the backseat.
He opens the left side rear door and grabs the man, and Elixir makes a half-hearted swipe at the backseat before drawing back, wondering why he was attacking the taxi cab.
The cab driver is screaming at both Shockwave and Elixir, who both seem confused at why they were approaching the taxicab in the first place.
Reen’s illusion was powerful enough to even make them forget this man.
This man with voices in his head as well. Rin could hear them inside the man’s head.
“You are to be the son of the son of Marduk, slayer of Tiamat and Zu, champion of Babel against the N’Garai horde, usurper of heaven and the earth and rightful scribe of the Tablet of Destinies. Will you serve me?”
=======
Shockwave, Solo, and Vendetta
Confusion.
For some reason, Elixir was tearing into the back of a taxicab.
For some reason, everyone had come outside.
And now it was getting ugly.
“You break my cab I sue! I sue!”
===================
ooc: inits….
For all intents and purposes, Reen’s power is sufficient enough to cause a “forgot what I’m doing” moment…

I freely confess I had no idea of what I was doing. The words arose unbidden, as if from some distant, half remembered dream. And now, this presence in my head. Filled with contempt and disgust. For me.
I hear it's voice:
“You are to be the son of the son of Marduk, slayer of Tiamat and Zu, champion of Babel against the N’Garai horde, usurper of heaven and the earth and rightful scribe of the Tablet of Destinies. Will you serve me?”
and I am compelled to answer:
et vous êtes légèrement retardé ...or woefully unobservant, tutelary spirit of my father's father. Else -after all these years - you would know better than to ask me foolish questions. If we must stand on ceremony...yes, I will serve you...but only for as long as it suits me, after which I will usurp everything you claim as yours and make it my own. The wise move would be for you to serve me and spare yourself needless suffering..
ooc: the rest of that speech depends on the outcome of this psyche FEAT:
