Renegade clutched his abdomen, checking for damage from empathically feeling the experiences of the wounded Windchill after peering too deeply into Spellbound's scrying spell. Turning into living shadow, Renegade says, "I know that place Vendetta found your friend Windchill. It used to be a Batboys gang hideout. I'm going to investigate it further and look for my master Stick while you retrieve your friend from that bonesaw back alley medic. I'll meet up with you all later." With that, Renegade disappears into the shadows of the night. ooc: to do behind the scenes adventuring

"Wait Vendetta, Flashdance and me we can teleport at least one person there, as long as we have the exact location, well at least me. I dont know how it works for you Flashdance. We need to discuss a strategy or this "team" wont work. But action right now is more important. Renegade before you go please show us that location so we can get there now, then you can meet up with your master."
))((OOC Judge Dead Sidekick, since I couldnt teleport go back, did Solo have a chance to get a different commando suit and some gear yet? Can Solo teleport at all with the medallion being bonded?"))((

Shockwave mused over the overlooked mention of the RFID tracking tags in the shipping crates that the Dreadnoiught was able to use to find the crate after Solo had shot out its optical sensors. With the networked gestalt processing of the Dreadnought robots, perhaps a logic probe of their memory circuits might reveal the frequency codes of the RFID tags. If that's possible the faint signal produced by them might be exploited and traced by highly classified inverse square law negating technology built into SHIELD's orbital satellite-based listening posts that could detect them at far greater range if their signals aren't blocked too much by enclosure inside a building or underground.
Though access to SHIELD's top secret intelligence gathering systems might be hard to come by without too many uncomfortable questions, civilian databases might contain information on where the crate came from before it was shipped to the warehouse with the Dreadnoughts and could prove to be exploitable information as well.
ooc: I had to streeetch Shockwave's talents and experience in SHIELD espionage training, computers and physics to a Reason + 3CS shift to pull off the green FEAT "Eureka" moment of a 20% FEAT roll. Plus it returns to that discomforting thought of possibly trying to work with the old bosses....

Only Vendetta knows the location of the "doctor's office" he dropped Windchill off at, an unlicensed "doctor" he knows (but not at a Contact level) that does patchwork for gangsters and shady vigilantes alike for money no questions asked. Solo still has his collection of lethal and non-lethal weaponry with him, though still dressed in civvies with a black leather jacket, cowboy boots, etc. (I'm sure Solo has a cache of weapons somewherre in NYC to exploit later, if not various SWAT and National Guard armories to steal things from as needed for a war on terrorism. Also don't forget Solo's Contact with Silver Sable / Symkarian intelligence, Symkaria does have an embassy in NYC.) Solo's teleportation is somehow hampered by the medallion on his neck (Solo doesn't know why, but ooc it's because the medallion is linked to the location of the book in the Manhattan area...) Solo could still, with Class 3000 accuracy, teleport directly to the location of Windchill / the doctor's office if Vendetta could provide him with an address or GPS coordinates. For now, you're all at the mercy of how cooperative Vendetta is about leading the team to the doctor's office faster than he can get there on his motorcycle. Ah, teamwork

Elixir sighs, "I need a ride...so can I hitch along with you on your bike?"
I really need to figure out a way to get around, maybe I'll see how fast I can go in gaseous form one day soon here...

I really need to figure out a way to get around, maybe I'll see how fast I can go in gaseous form one day soon here... ooc: intriguing idea. Elixir would move at his normal movement rate as a vaguely Elixir-shaped contiguous cloud of gas. A rather dangerous powerstunt of his Catalytic Control power could likely assist him in moving somewhat faster through the air in gaseous form via accelerating and decelerating adiabatic reactions here and there on the perimeter of where his gaseous form touches normal air (he'd have to become a cloud of a gas that spontaneously combusts when it mixes with other gases, basically controlled chemical explosions to propel and steer his gaseous form... it'd take lots of concentration, and could be a disaster waiting to happen...) Elixir may want to acquire an unstable molecules costume that turns into gaseous form with him as well, to prevent embarassing nude scenes when he re-integrates into a solid form

I really need to figure out a way to get around, maybe I'll see how fast I can go in gaseous form one day soon here..."Sure as long as you dont mind getting a little dirty. My last passenger was your buddy, and he was quite a mess at the time. Now hopefully we get there before that scumbag hands him over to this Mr. H." is that a hint of worry in Vendetta's otherwide hard voice? or is it just your imagination playing tricks on you? Vendetta looks over his shoulder one last time at the other heroes and shrugs "Guess they are not coming." he mutters then as soon as Elixir is in place behind him he revs the engine and roars off.

Pushing aside thoughts of what to do with the Dreadnoughts as a tracking system, Shockwave says, "Lead the way. We need to make sure the kid is alright." He prepares to take flight and follow, making sure he finds a clear spot to take off without doing too much damage.

Elixir takes his seat,
"Thanks for the lift, I'm ready to go when you are...the others can catch up anyway, they don't have to deal with traffic."

"Id need a ride from someone since my teleportation isn't working, probably because this blasted medallion!", Solo was pissed that he needed assistance from someone this way. This whole mess was the reason for him to work alone, to be Solo, quite literally.

ooc: I had a vision of Solo riding piggyback on Flashdance's back as he leaps through the streets of Manhattan following Vendetta and Elixir on the motorcycle. Just thought it'd be funny. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

Vedetta gave the bike full throttle - he wanted to get to the kid before this mr. H did. As they pulled up before the place where he dropped off Windchill, he got off the bike and strode directly to the door. Pulling out a Night-stick he banged on the door with it, and then without waiting for a reply, he took a step back and fired once at the lock, almost simultaneously kicking the door.
random roll to see if the door opens [attack=568365646572355]

Elixir climbs off of the bike, "This Mr. "H" is probably Mr. Hammerhead. I'm going to go around back."
Elixir will go around the back side of the house (after turning titanium) and force the back door open and listen and look inside.

Solo tries to find a vehicle of some sort the gangbangers left behind. He would need to find an alternative. Sigh he relied too much on his teleportation. [attack=34527756978494]
