Hey just wondering what the rule is on amalgam characters, ei. a mixed character, created by taking one DC and one Marvel character and making them one. An obvious amalgam would be Green Arrow/Hawkeye ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) anyhow, I'm not planning on making one just yet, but I was just wondering as the world we play in is a mix of the two worlds.

My approach is basically that there is no Marvel and DC universe (or that they exist as seperate, inaccessible universes). There is only this gaming universe which combines the two as if they were all along the same universe.
The Amalgam Universe would be an alternate universe entirely, and likely inaccessible as well.
At least until we move forward in my game campaign timeline to the events that become the Secret Wars / Crisis on Infinite Earths/ But I'm happy here in 1980's storylines in 2010 settings before all of that on the horizon happens.
So, no, no Amalgam characters. We're a busy universe as it is.

Maybe if we ambitiously expanded to an omniverse with mutiple game Judges covering seperate criss-crossing universes, but that's well beyond the scope of my mutation of the Gang Wars Trilogy.
