A Dreadnought robot (#5) attempts to right itself and stand up on the pavement Windchill has slickened with frozen carbon dioxide, shuffles its feet almost comically, and falls down flat on its face again.
=====
The Dreadnought robot that had its eyes shot out (#10) stumbles on the ice sheet, fumbling around to find the crate it dropped, but is unsuccessful. It too slips and slides on the icy surface, flailing about.
=====
Spellbound grabs the heavily-armed counter-terrorist known as "Solo" in a handshake that she quickly turns into a yank, pulling him through a timespace fissure that forms at her side. She reappears with Solo in the dining room of the homeless shelter where Oldschool lives. Her power shifts to Healing energy as they emerge.
Jenkins is seeing the ice cream man named Bill carried off in an ambulance when he returns to the dining area, surprised by Spellbound's sudden appearance.
Solo is somewhat disoriented by the sudden shift in his surroundings despite his familiarity with teleportation, and passes out from his injuries.
Spellbound notices a pendant necklace around Solo's neck, bearing the sigil of the warlock Bartholomew Jacobs, and that his regular uniform is covered with another unform bearing patches which read "Omega Strike" and a name embroidered over the right shirt pocket that says "Bourne" next to another over the left pocket that says "US Army" The material of this "Omega Strike" uniform seems clothlike, but isn't cloth. The pendant around his neck seems metallic, but is not made of any metal Spellbound is familiar with. The extra uniform and pendant are very light and somewhat fragile to the touch.
(Solo will be unconcious until his player returns)=====
The Dreadnought (#6) that had advanced close enough to enter hand to hand combat with Oldschool drops it crate as a smoldering gout of smoke emerges from its armpits and flames lick out of its shoulder joints. It takes up a boxing stance, and lands a hard, concrete-shaking left cross upon Oldschool's chin. The big hero's eyes roll back in his head as he falls, sparks from the taser grid throughout the robot's outer casing arc and sizzle. [Oldschool takes
10 points electrical damage, but will Regenerate 3 points per round in following rounds. Oldschool has been stunned for 5 rounds]
=====
Shockwave quickly theorizes that now that the flight thrust modes of his Mach stem shockwave generator have been segregated from its overall capabilities, he can focus his sonic force field into a tight beam of near solid force energy without repelling himself in the opposite direction, to use as a "grappling" force to hold a Dreadnought robot (#9) in place with crushing levels of pressure waves. The idea works like a dream, but Shockwave misses his target, instead driving a section of Windchill's ground level ice covering through the pavement and making a small crater. The ice covering surrounding the crater cracks and shatters, making the slick surface jagged enough for the robots to possibly catch their footing when they get up. The glass globes of strangely-colored chemicals roll around and fall into cracks in the ice sheet, but none break.
=====
Windchill focuses his cryokinetic powers upon a Dreadnought (#5) and from its feet to its head a swirling vortex of super-cooled air and frost form, quickly encasing the robot in a block of bluish transluscent ice, effectively immobilizing it.
======.
As Oldschool drops from the burning Dreadnought's (#6) punch, Elixir concentrates his Catalytic Control decay powers on its head, causing the rubber seals in its jaw-mounted freon gas dispenser to fail. The Dreadnought's face frosts up, then bursts spraying metallic parts on the ground as the remainder of its head and upper torso become encased in a thick layer of ice. Its armpits continue to burn with licking flames, but it falls backwards, kicking over the crate it dropped to punch Oldschool. The lid falls off, revealing the contents inside: small bricks of a strange substance, wrapped in wax paper and cellophane, and glowing with an eerie green neon-like light.
======
Flashdance steps forward towards the burning, faceless Dreadnought (#6) with a devilish grin on his face, and with a dramatic wave of his hand, the robot disappears in a flash of light, teleporting to a location some 2 miles up in the atmosphere over the Atlantic Ocean.
======
The Dreadnought (#9) that walked with a limp tries unsucessfully to get up on its feet on the broken icy surface but fails. It gropes wildly, trying to retrieve the glass globes of strange chemicals that fell out of Dreadnought #10's crate that slide around and get lodged in cracks and crevasses formed by Shockwave's accidental shattering of Windchill's ice sheet.
======
Back at the homeless shelter, Jenkins helps Spellbound lay the unconcious Solo down across a dining table. He says "This guy's Special Forces. I recognize the uniform. Looks like he's suffered some bad burns and a gunshot. Wait, it's a bullethole, but no wound..."
======
As electricity from the Dreadnought's punch dance over Oldschool's skin, his flesh seems to change to a blue-green color for a second. Elixir and Flashdance notice that Oldschool's ears become slightly pointed before he returns to normal flesh tone with normal human ears....
======
scene update:
One Dreadnought (#5) is locked in a block of ice. Another (#6) was made to disappear by Flashdance. Another (#10) is blind and flailing on the ground. The remaining Dreadnought (#9) is faltering on the ice on a damaged leg, attempting to grab the glass globes of chemicals rolling around. They seem very important to it.
The crate dropped by Dreadnought #6 appears to be filled with kilo bricks of the designer drug "Kick."
In the distance, sirens wail as police, fire, and emergency vehicles begin heading towards the burning pier. Alongside the pier, firefighter boats are beginning to spray water on the fires.
Above, a news helicopter flies.
Declare actions / roll initiatives, this one is near done.
