FLASHDANCE:
"No problem, Agent," the agent driving said as he weaved through traffic. While he wasn't speeding too badly, he was driving aggressively enough to show he had had some training in the field.
After a short while, he slowed the car and pulled over. He turned in the seat as he pointed ahead.
"The Mets just up around the corner to the left. I''ll remain here as per headquarters directive... I'm at your disposal. Oh, will you be staying at the safehouse? Or, would you like for me to reserve a room for you somewhere? Just let me know..."

SOLO: **Because Solo's such a veteran of teleport-Fu, roll again and give me a green FEAT. Success will indicate that you've managed to avert disaster (and not appear in the wall) and teleport to a more frequented NYC location nearby. I'm bending the rules abit, but not much. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

SHOCKWAVE:
As Shockwave hits the street, he passes a couple taking advantage of a beautiful afternoon by talking a walk. At first they look startled but then their faces turn to a look of recognition.
"Hey Shellhead," the man hollered cheerfully, "I dig the new threads!" It was clear that the man was trying to impress the lady walking beside him.
"That guy changes suits more often than most men change underwear..."

Shellhead? What in the world is he talking about? Nevermind. Stay focused. I can't be late. What kind of first impression would that be?
Shockwave continued towards the MET, giving a short wave to the couple as he headed off.

SHOCKWAVE:
The woman almost looked as shocked as the gentleman when Shockwave waved. He recovered quick enough to cover his suprise before she noticed.
"Yep, me an Ironman used to be pretty close,"

"Naw - lets go for class. Book me a "Best Western", and make sure they have cable and a continental breakfast. I'll call you when I'm ready."
With that, Flashdance take a peek around, makes sure nobody's looking, and jumps straight up as high as he can (75 feet). At the apex of the jump, he does a quick flip in the air, says to himself "This is so freak'n cool", then teleports over to the nearest rooftop heading towards the Met. Having a totally good time doing it, he will travel like this to the museum (if I need to make a roll just let me know)

Attempt to Teleport [attack=586292397681659] this is a red succes. Solo appered close but outside of the Museum. He hid ina a nearby bush and started recalculating his teleportation-calculations, something went wrong. ))((OOC Question: So Sol is pretty good with teleportation, we should decide what his powerlevel of control, aka what I should roll against. I will leave this decision up to a Judge. Oh task, thanks btw for saving me from the wall. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ))((

[ooc: Just thought I'd offer my Judge-ly two cents in here.]
Solo's teleportation power description in TSR official game stats is different from the teleportation powers in the APB and UPB, and reads as follows:Teleportation: Due to a biochemical reaction, Solo can instantly teleport himself and his clothing and equipment to a maximum of Class 3000 range (10,000 miles). He can take along anything else he is touching with a total weight of no more than 400 pounds. Each time he teleports, Solo must succeed at a Green Endurance FEAT or be confused and unable to act on the following turn. Passengers must succeed at a Green Endurance FEAT or be disoriented for 1-10 turns.
It takes Solo's metabolism time to realign after he teleports between locations. He must wait 1-10 turns to "recharge." In order to teleport before this time has elasped, Solo must first succeed at a Red Power Rank FEAT. He can attempt this FEAT only once while recharging, and failure indicates that he must recharge for an additional 1-10 turns.
If Solo should accidentally rematerialize in a solid object, he must attempt a Power Rank FEAT. A Yellow result is required for success, meaning he instinctively teleports to another location and fails unconscious for 1-10 turns. Failure denotes that he suffers damage equal to twice the object's Material Strength or actual Strength, if it is a living being. In the latter case, the creature takes an equivalent amount of damage. To model how Solo's teleportation works in the comics, use the above, and where it says a Power Rank FEAT is needed (without telling us the power rank, grrrr) we whip out the handy dandy Ultimate Powers Book to find where 10,000 mile range falls on Rank Rank E table (the table UPB uses for Teleportation) and find that a UPB teleporter could cover 10,000 miles (actually up to 25,000 miles) with Excellent rank.
It appears to me the "official" writeup used part of the APB teleportation rules (for range only, not power rank) My suggestion would be to consider Solo's Teleportation power rank to be Excellent (UPB rules) rather than Class 3000 for purposes of teleporting while recharging or recovering from a materialization accident.
The trade off is while Solo teleporting before fully charged up is obviously more difficult than it was with a Class 3000 rank, with a Yellow Power FEAT he could teleport to ANYWHERE on Earth (25,000-ish miles). This matches the comics best.
Solo should not be the battlefield combat multiple teleporter that Nightcrawler is or Flashdance will be, but part of his charm is popping up out of nowhere guns blazing....
Just remember to roll the ten-sider for the recharge period length each time Solo teleports, and the Endurance FEAT to see if Solo's teleport disoriented himself.
Hope that helped

As Shockwave makes the final approach to the museum complex, he switches from passive to active sonar, sending pulses of inaudible high frequency sound out around the surroundings, and getting the readings from what bounces back. The heads up display of the helmet began looking for movements of anyone in the area, not only in a 360 degree radius, but in three dimensions.
Who knows who might show up. I know that the curator was looking for help, but anyone could arrive. I'm sure some crazies will come out of the woodwork, and who knows, whoever was behind the theft might plant some spies to see who is here too. I wonder, am I now one of the crazies? What am I doing here...

FLASHDANCE: As Flashdance jumps and 'ports from building to building, he can see the huge park unveiling before his eyes in the middle of the cityscape. Before long he recognizes the museum that is his destination.
From up high, Flashdance can see many people moving around, going for walks, jogging and just taking the sights in.
Roll for Intuition, please. Post as normal, you do not have to post being actively intuitive. Make your post, hit return a couple times and then press the 'Attack Rates' before posting your reply.
***I don't see the need for unnecessary rolls. You jumping and porting to move around do not need a roll. When you try to jump and port when in a battle situation or a chase will be different. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

SHOCKWAVE:
As his sonar builds a 360 degree look of his surroundings, he hears what his eyes had already told him. Many people walking around, cars passing by and... someone hiding in the nearby bushes looking suspicious? Additionally, someone is approaching via rooftops but it's hard to get a signal as the sonar blip or ping keeps losing a lock on the approaching subject. It's there and then it's not there and then appearing closer and closer...

Hope that helped Awesome, DSk and thank you. As I said, I'm relatively inexperienced and what campaigns I have ran, were all fairly rules 'light'. I appreciate what you bring to the campaign, DSk. Not only do the players benefit, but so do I! ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Taking note of someone being in the bushes, but making a conscious effort not to look at either of them, Shockwave approaches the front of the museum, wishing that he had integrated his watch into the armor design to see how close to the correct time was so he wouldn't be standing out in front of the museum looking like a costumed idiot too long.

So Solo heard a sound, and realized that somebody was close by, he pulled out his gun and try to to see the person without being seen.
