I am interested just have to figure out who or what to play. I'll probably want to smack myself for this later, but I'm kind of hoping to have player characters from at least three eras of time. Home-brewed characters with a good back story are always welcome. |

I've (roughly) plotted the first two weeks of the campaign for the three eras. I'm still looking for at least 2 more players...I'd like three for each era, but I've worked out so that even if it's three solo characters in three different time periods, I can tell one coherent, interconnected story with very little timey whimy stuff. If I don't fill the slots here with you guys, I'll go hunting for players (but I'd rather "the devil you know" things...).
Anyway, what I'm looking for are characters who will fit in the dawn of the marvel age...the past...and more grounded, modern age types who wouldn't be out of place in either the initiative or as frequent allies of s.h.i.e.l.d. (somewhere between cap and iron man).

week one of what I'm now calling an "Event" campaign kicks off next weekend. The alternating tense structure of the plot means you've got until 10/12 to submit a character...

slight delay of game as I have a project that I need to finish by tomorrow. (everything's plotted out and ready to be typed into narrative form...this assignment's just taking longer than I anticipated...)

I have a character that could work coolness  for which era? "the present" will run next week & "the past" the week after (or I'll just be alternating between two eras and using the "empty" era for story filler (in that era).) chances are the character's pre-approved btw. I read your rping before I joined, so I trust your commitment to character and ability to stick to my (admittedly vague) framework. |

Id like to play my "Wanderer" character that I have been using as an NPC in my campaign that didnt catch on. He can be in anytime. He is a mysterious figure, kinda like a mix between a highlander esque immortal and dr who. He has traveled many worlds and many times. He is immortal in the sence that if he dies in one timeline\world he will be resurected in another one.

ok, so since we're kind of stalled a little in the other games, I'm re-upping my offer to run a game. My idea (right now) is to run it as a "limited series" instead of an "on going". assuming a group between 4 and 6, I'd be shooting for 16-24 weeks of game play (that's a solid 4 weeks...non-consecutive, I'm assuming...of focus on each character), with 3 updates per week. The emphasis would be on story over dice rolling ie automatic successes 3+cs below, impossible feat (unless it'd be really freaking cool) 2+cs above (this will primarily affect the npc's and villain/s). Same options as above: Horror themed, cosmic "street level" a la Guardians of the Galaxy/ L.E.G.I.O.N., PLUS I'm going to toss in "all mutant/all eternal/all inhuman....what the heck, all asgardian (so i could theoretically steal from Simonson's run) team". I can run multi-dimensional/timeline/universes or I can play it straight so we don't get bogged down in the metaphysics. It may or maynot exist within the shared universe that DS created...but regardless it'll be on the fringes of the 'verse... if you're in, give me a month to get her up and running. anyone game? <this is what I would like to play. |

sorry for the hold up. My papers are due next week so after this weekend the campaign will be back on schedule...until finals but I only have one of those this semester
