A good place to "play test" variant statted characters in mini-scenarios as well.
We could have a regular UCWF thing going on here.
I suppose I could be referee on "fight night" unless volunteer Judges step forward (so's I can play, hehe)

My early bets on who would win your matches (based on gut feeling, mostly):
Cap versus Bats...
Bats.
Thor versus Supes...
Thor. just barely.
Green Lantern versus Quasar...
Quasar.
Green Arrow versus Hawkeye...
All bets are off if GA breaks out a tactical nuke arrow and takes out Hawkeye and himself. But if GA even thinks about bringing the boxing glove arrow, I gotta go with Hawkeye.
Lex Luthor versus Iron Man (Tony Stark)...
Luthor.
Oldschool versus the Rhino...
Oldschool, by brains over brawn (still a good fight)
Shockwave versus Klaw...
Shockwave's armor is powered by sonic energy. This is a hard one to call.
Flashdance versus Nightcrawler (w/swords)...
FD can teleport others (objects, people) without teleporting with them as a distance attack. Nightcrawler's the better teleporter and swordsman, but FD can teleport him against his will and keep him on the defensive. I'm gonna say FD here.
Renegade versus Iron Fist...
Ren's in trouble if Fist hits him with a chi strike. But how do you punch a shadow? Good fight here. Hard to tell.
Vendetta versus Punisher...
This may happen in the actual game as Big Pun is tired of sitting on the sidelines of the gang war. He may break out of Rykers Island prison before it's all over.
Windchill versus Pyro (never did like Pyro)
Pyro has this one, I'm afraid. Many solid frozen gases are explosively flammable, like solid oxygen. If it got right down to freeze or burn extremes, Windchill would likely fuel an explosion that killed both, or just himself as he tried to shield himself from flame blasts. Windchill is amateur personified.

M's got Elixir beat on every part of Elixir's powers except one. Elixir can eat Metamorpho for breakfast, literally.

Superman just snatch Thor's hammer and spank him with it.
Oldschool versus the Rhino...
Rhino's sharp horn gives him a small advantage but Oldschool can outsmart the big lug any day of the week.
Renegade versus Iron Fist...
They will most likely get in a fight on who stole the costume design first. It will be a tough match though as both have abilities that somehow complement one another.

I'd definately give this one to Klaw at this point. Shockwave knows a lot of theory on sonics. Klaw has practice. Maybe a couple years down the road, it would be a better fight, but at this time, Shockwave studies Klaws notes to school himself...he'd get schooled on the field too. |

I'd pay money to read all of those fights if they went right to the finish. Spawn and Venom would be a fairly exciting match. I think Spawn would win once the stakes were raised. I guess alot of it depends on which Venom you're talking bout (as to how long the match lasts before Spawn wins, lol. Batman and Daredevil.... epic. Batman still takes the win, but again I'd pay good money to read a fight to the finish ending. It's still one of my favorite Marvel DC crossovers where Batman and Daredevil got into it (though it showed Daredevil abit too deranged as he was grinning getting the tar beat outta him. Daredevil's got a couple screws loose, but I felt a their portrayal was a little too over the top) Lion-o and He Man- Power of Greyskull all the way, Baby! Batman vs. Daredevil's got my vote for a fight I'd like to see here... though I'd prefer an more melee orientated Batman than the uber-gadget to face off against ol' Hornhead. Frank Miller version of both. |

In tabletop matchups I've run Batman against Daredevil and it was rough going for Batman. Daredevil isn't the kind of threat Captain America is. It's harder to put DD on the defensive, and he's better with his billy club than Bats is with a batarang, being near as agile as Spider-Man.

I was looking at various Sci-fi drawings today, and saw a drawing of a klingon face next to the creature from predator, which made me think. in a purely physical fight (ei. no phasers/lasers/guns of any kind) who would win - the klingon or the predator?
